The hotel is an easy and well signposted walk from the terminal and the public areas and personable staff give a great first impression. The rooms whilst clean were devoid of any decoration which made the rooms feel very unwelcoming. The room was also very cold, it seems a basic requirement to have heat turned on in the rooms even at a low level in February. Not a bad stay but with a few touches and a little thought it could be so much better.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. I chose it because it is the closest hotel to Edinburgh Airport, as I had a 6 a.m. flight the next day. One of the best things about this hotel is its excellent location, and the fact that it provides a free shuttle service to the airport, which was extremely convenient. Check-in was fast and smooth, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive the hotel’s signature cookie, which made a lovely afternoon snack. I ordered room service from downstairs and the food was delicious and served quickly. One area for improvement would be the room service payment process. Since I only had cash, I had to go downstairs to make the payment. Additionally, having food delivered to the room required an extra service charge, which was new to me. Overall, this is a great hotel and one I would highly recommend, especially for travelers with early morning flights.

Pool temperature was reduced - apparently for filter works. Towels not supplied at facilities - own room towels had to be taken. Room in need of vacuuming - dusty carpet. Spoke with head cleaner who will relay message. Informed front desk for future guests and cleanliness. (OK points were provided as a consolation/corrective - however prefer improved cleanliness)
