    We were assigned a room with virtually no view at all, it felt more like being in a jail cell. Before accepting the room, we repeatedly asked the staff member what the view outside the window was like. Instead of answering honestly, he kept avoiding the question and only emphasized that the room was on the top floor. We had already mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary and specifically told him we did not want a room with no view. It was obvious that he knew the room had no view, yet he still chose not to disclose this and assigned it to us anyway. We completely understand if a better room wasn’t available. What disappointed us was not the room itself, but the lack of honesty. We would have appreciated being told the truth upfront rather than being misled. Transparency and honesty are what customers expect, especially on a special occasion like an anniversary.

    A little tricky to find as it’s down somewhat of an alley. But handy to the river front and down town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Overall a very pleasant experience

    Advertised as a 4 star hotel but it definitely is not. Facilities are poorly maintained, and the room had lots of noticeable wear and tear. Room was dirty with other people’s trash in the bin when we checked in and a thick layer of dust on the headboard above the pillows and all over the phone, which did not work. And the dental kit in the bathroom was previously opened. WiFi did not work in the room, at all. Thin walls. And the breakfast was probably the worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Bathroom looked nice, however the vent fan also did not work.
