Gonna shorten this up: Paid for the room in advance. Upon arrival, was asked for my card. Verified my card and name. The rep stated that I had to pay a deposit. I paid the deposit and went about my night… even with the loud children running up and down the hallway throughout the night… only needed the room until the next morning…Flew out the next morning back to GA. Noticed there was a pending charge on my card for $140. The deposit was only $25. Called on 3 separate occasions to confirm the deposit amount and that my room was paid for prior to arrival…Manager *** was one of the individuals that confirmed. Along with that other condisending manager name ***. *** told me to forward the proof to him… heard nothing back even after circling back. Called today… 12/19/2025 to follow up. *** answers the phone and act as if she’s annoyed and yes, you can hear it in her voice. I don’t know her from *** and today was my first time speaking with her….the entire convo lacked any customer service skills that hopefully Courtyard taught her….Long story short I get no where with her because her attitude is horrible and I’m only trying to get the issue resolved and my funds returned. I asked her when will another manager be in… she stated that *** will be in at 3 and she wanted to know why I asked. I informed her that her demeanor and tone shows she’s not having a good day…and that I’m only trying to get assistance for the money that their staff took from my card… she states “oh… well… sorry you feel that way…”. As a manager… who says that? … but cool… I disconnected the call as soon as I could before I proceeded to say what I was thinking…. Save yourself the trouble and just don’t book here… If you have shady practices and nasty managers such as *** working your establishment… no telling what you will do or allow…. I will be following up.

The hotel was nice except for the attitude of the receptionist that checked me in. He proceeded to tell me about a fee to cover damages but couldn't give me the policy that stated the extra charge. I noticed that in the room, there were things already damaged such as the mechanism to the bathroom door. The wall paper was loose in certain sections of the room and that there were bad water stains in the ceiling. After seeing the condition of the room, It made me feel like I was being setup after asking for a $20 per day damage fee. I am not saying that the stay was completely bad, but it certainly could have been better.

The room was clean but is advertised as having a couch which wasn't the case and also the shower never got beyond "not freezing cold". Couldn't even call it lukewarm. So, despite everything else being okay enough, that was really disappointing.
