Chinese owned hotel. Modern and clean rooms. Well priced. Within walking distance to Paragon Mall. Wonderful Japanese restaurant on ground level.

Pros: 1) balcony was great for meals and relaxing at night 2) room was spacious 3) location is relatively convenient but a walk to gurney plaza/paragon Cons: 1) only allowed 2 bottles of water daily for free, anymore will need to pay money 2) when asked for water at the counter (yet to take my free 2 bottles due to do not disturb sign), staff appears annoyed but assisted anyway. 3) security guard was rude but doing his job well. 4) room and sheets cleanliness can be very much improved Overall satisfied with stay. Will consider when coming back to Penang

This hotel deserves more recognition. They may not have a pool or a gym (i dont need it cause i wanted to explore penang) but if you need an accomodation that is safe, RELIABLE and clean, COME HERE. spoke to one of the front desk guy and he said it only recently turned into a hotel from a members only club. Finding this hotel is like finding a hidden gem. It is spacious and has great views! Felt like as if I was back in Istanbul. It is a literal walking distance to gurney bay park and gurney drive. At first I wanted to stay around georgetown considering how its close to the heritage town. But I wanted somewhere a little away from the hustle and bustle and yet still nearby by Grab. I have no regrets. I could walk to gurney bay park for a run in the morning/evening and that was the best part of our stay. The park is beautiful. Amazing weather, lots of eateries nearby, and you could walk anywhere. It’s also a 10 minute walking distance to Gurney Paragon/Plaza, a HUGE plus if you ask me. Taking a grab to georgetown costed me from 6-8RM. it’s a 7-10 min short drive. Now the room, surprisingly was more than perfect for the 3 of us. it had a super single bed, and a king size bed. The room was big and spacious, and there’s even a balcony! Not many hotels around penang has a balcony so this was a bonus for us as we don’t feel cramped or stuffy in the room. and i love how the toilet has a bidet spray too! ugh i cant commend enough how this was just a lucky find for us! Super friendly staff too, both the abang and chinese aunty! Will definitely come back here again!
