Staff were brilliant during check-in and the bed was amazing to sleep in. Second visit and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Be sure to visit the Comedy Store and Saddle Ranch Chop Shop across the road too.

I know the hotel and Agoda keep saying that they notified regarding renovation, but seriously as others say, it is pure construction site. Lobby is just ripped off with basically no flooring and ceiling. Breakfast was decent. On 3rd floor, there are two or three 3~4-step-stair, which was very inconvenient. Inside the room, everything was very very old and smells old, but the bathroom seemed to be renovated recently. But still, bathroom light was blinking... ------------------- If the building cannot function as a hotel, please pause your business...or at least provide better deals, like free parking. Speaking of parking, you have to go around blocks to enter the parking lot, which is very confusing and not convenient. Pool was one of reasons why people choose this hotel, but no pool? Some rooms are located right in front of neighboring wall, so no light at all through the window. Lastly, Agoda should present such notification more explicitly and clearly. When I filed a complain, Agoda said they notified about the renovation, but well.. you can find about that if you click "details" or "more" whatever that extension link is. Very disappointed, and even upset... it was way to overpriced for what is going on there right now... With this kind of experience, I wouldn't even think about booking here even after the completion of renovation...

My family stayed here and chose this hotel for close proximity to all things Hollywood - right on sunset strip it’s easy to get around, even the can from LAX to the hotel will take you right past some essential locations on the strip on way! Uber rides are always fast and don’t cost much to get around. The hotel has a really nice relaxed feel, rooms are large and clean - the pools great, staff always friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was a nice bonus as well, options changed each day. I’d come back here again next time for sure.

The hotel is undergoing serious renovation. It’s not just a small scale reno, it a full on construction site. The whole lobby is flying with dust and loud wood sawing noise. The elevator is constantly blocked with ladders. I don’t know why they are even allowed operating. There’s also a sketchy sign in the bedroom saying this facility is not safe. I booked and paid a few months ago, did not receive any prior notice and was not offered any discount or compensation for the disruption. I feel bad for the hotel staff at the reception having to breathe in the dust everyday. The construction worker was hammering right in front of our windows at 730am, no privacy at all. Do not stay here!!
