About a 2 minute walk away from the train station and you get about the same level of experience to other APA Hotel chains.

A clever way to elude new kyoto tax for hotels, we stay 5 days, coming a going a bit tiering but not bad. Lot of food options, also perfect place to go to MIHO art museum.

Very close to JR Seta station. Convenient store and supermarket are nearby. Staffs, front and cleaning, were very friendly. Shower water was a bit small. Table in the room could be longer. I don’t like their central control led AC. I couldn’t adjust temperature myself. It was really cold at night. I don’t recommend their breakfast. With that price, I only got a few choices. Not worth it. Laundry and microwave are not very clean. Overall it was average.

We did not book any hotel in advance as we are not sure of our schedule. When we needed a hotel to stay for the night, APA became our immediate selection. We are pleasantly surprised with the tremendous discount we got even though it was our last minute booking. As expected room was spotlessly clean and tidy even though it was under renovation and we are not able to see the view outside, our stay was wonderful. The front desk staff even directed and walk us down to the nearby restaurant when we enquired about that particular restaurant. Of course that was during a non-peak hotel hour :-) We will definitely look for APA hotel chain when we needed.
