This hotel is cheap and cheerful. Staff are super friendly and the location is great for a short trip in Sandpoint. Easily walkable to the downtown area and a short 20 min drive to the ski hill. Free breakfast items to go was a welcome touch that set our day off right.

This one is hard for me. This used to be the best hotel and restaurant in the area but those days are long past. Now? Now it is a budget option in a great location with friendly staff. The pool and hot tub are not open and my understanding is they haven’t been for quite some time. The breakfast is a fridge with grab and go items and a cup of coffee. The bar was not open during my stay and I was told by the front desk that it might open and if it didn’t they would let me know.
The room was clean. The water pressure was good. The internet worked fine and the staff were friendly.
Overal, it is a cheap opportunity and the location gives you access to plenty of places.

The shower facets are broken and leak from both the regulator and spout. Bed was hard, and then exterior wall to the hallway is a window not a eall. Light still comes in from the hall even with drapes closed. You can hear every little thing. And the a/c didn't work well, even on hi. Pool and hot tub are broken indefinitely. Not worth the ***.
