About this cabin rental
Thank you for considering My Vacation Property Rental (MVP Rental) for your upcoming trip to the Poconos. I have owned and been hosting groups in this lake community since 2011. Over the years, across multiple properties, I have hosted thousands of groups, and have the knowledge to deliver a relaxing retreat from today's fast paced life, that is simple and easy. I purchased this home over 10 years ago and fully renovated it. I added the loft, the spiral staircase, second floor on suite bath, custom kitchen, and unique cabin grade hardwood flooring. The home has a bit of a mountain modern feel with its design. The natural wood accents, rustic flooring, and black and white prints give it a bit of a loft or urban cabin feel. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, dishes, plates, wine glasses, both keurig, and auto drip coffee maker, and dishwasher.
The home has air conditioning, a gas fireplace, high speed Wi-Fi, and outdoor seating area with grill and is pet friendly provided the appropriate pet fee has been paid.
There is a large area of undeveloped space to the side of the home where deer can usually be seen most days. Turkey, fox, and the occasional bear are also known visitors, in addition to the bald eagle and osprey which are often spotted overhead while fishing the lake.
The Cottage:

--3 bedrooms (1 king, 2 queens)
--1 full size sleeper sofa in living room
--1 daybed in loft (house could sleep 10 but we only allow 8)
--2 baths (1 full downstairs, 1 ¾ bath on suite of master)
--5 beds ( 1 king, 2 queens, 1 full sleeper sofa, 1 twin or king daybed)
--1200 sqft
--1/2 acre lot

This is the second property of Will’s that we have vacationed in for our Christmas holidays! Will has made his homes very welcoming. Everything is spotless and in working order. We even got a visit from all the local deer on Christmas day! Location is in proximity for skiing, snow tubing and visiting Santa and his reindeer.

We e recently learned our Bernese Mt Dog, Journey has cancer! Since he loves snow we decided to take a little trip farther north in hopes of getting some snow for him & his brother Tater. We found Will’s cozy cottage with a fenced yard on VRBO! The property description along with all the excellent reviews of the cozy comfort, cleanliness, the tranquil setting, the abundant wildlife…mainly the beautiful deer, the secure fenced yard and the property owner’s quick response and genuine concern that your comfortable and enjoy your stay were all spot on! We had a very comfy, warm and cozy, snugfest with our big boys! We found animal tracks in the snow and had fun playing detective to see who our little visitor was! Much to our delight, we determined it was a little masked bandit! We enjoyed watching the cute little squirrels playing tag and hide and go seek! We really enjoyed being amongst all the beautiful deer! We were very respectful of their space and made sure our big boys were too! Our beautiful Journey got his snow! We ended our last night with delicious T-bone steak dinners we cooked on the grill for us and for our sweet boys! It wasa bittersweet week that we will never forget! Thank you Will for allowing us the pleasure to stay in your very cozy cottage! We would love to come and stay sometime in the near future!

I stayed with a friend for 4 days. The house is lovely, the location is great, however there was no AC (I would not have stayed in a house that didn’t have AC) and the coffee maker didn’t work. I also didn’t love the checkout expectations for cleaning everything (including stripping all beds and loading the washer, not possible with all the linens and towels). We paid a lot, and I expect more.
