About this chalet rental
All bedding towels and wash clothes provided now included!!! Our house is in the beautiful community of Towamensing Trails. It features 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master has a queen bed, bedroom #2 has 2 twin beds, bedroom #3 has 2 sets of bunk beds, and bedroom #4 has another queen(every room has a tv and a dvd player). There are 2 queen size couches in the living room with a gas fireplace and a 50"tv. We have a wii with plenty of games. Poker chips and cards. There are movies and games as well for all ages. The game room has a full size pool table, full size ping pong conversion top, shuffleboard table and a 42" tv. The kitchen is fully stocked and has a full size dishwasher . There are 2 decks 1 in front and 1 off the master with a 4 burner gas grill. We have wifi. HOT TUB ALWAYS CLEAN!!! Old school arcade machine with 700 of your favorite games and a Golden tee golf game. We always are maintaining and upgrading our home. We had a water purification sytem installed in 2018. (SUMMER ONLY)8 bracelets are given with stay for the SUMMER amenities if more is needed they can be purchased at the boat rental hut by the lake!

We had stayed for a week in August and it was perfect. Location is right around so many things to do. We went to the outlets, camel beach and Jim Thorpe. We had 2 days that we just had a lazy day and the kids were still entertained with everything available there. The owner was great and had made sure we made it okay and if we needed anything. We even went to the beach in the community. We would stay here again.

The house was great and perfect to fit my families needs. We could also bring our dog which was great as well. Everything in the home worked as it should. The hot tub was very nice to have as well. It was very peaceful and quiet and the neighbors seemed nice also. The deer are extremely friendly. My children were feeding them by hand. The one thing that was on the downside was the community itself. This portion I believe is out of the homeowners control. They only give you only 8 tags for the beach regardless of your party size and you can not purchase more. On top of that. These are one time use paper carnival bracelets and must be worn to enjoy any amenity. So as you swim and shower these bracelets degrade. They also must last for days at a time. You end up having to wear a beat carnival bracelet as your food shopping. It’s fairly degrading if I must say, and should be changed. I saw another review where someone they felt as they had a target on their back. I felt the same way, and they want you to wear those bracelets to make sure you can be singled out of a crowd. You can not remove them as they must be worn at all amenities. You can not use your own kayaks only home owners can. You’re not welcome at the bar near the pool either. The pool is roughly similar to one you would see in a regular neighborhood backyard. House is A1, the community itself could use a bit more hospitality and some smarter business practices.
