Alto Log Cabin

The log cabin was completely serene and peaceful, we got the morning sunrise and hot airballon show on the one side and the sunset and moon with full stars on the other side, hearing the roar of the lions and the wild dogs howls was amazing and seeing all the little critters around the plot, the cabin was cozy and the beds and pillows were absolutely comfortable, everything was provided for in terms of warm blankets, gas heater and a good gas braai stand. Would deff come again. With a 4x4 lol. Very wonderful place for a proper serene peaceful time away from city life and technology. 💜💖

I can't say I didn't like anything just rather a headsup to future visitors, as per what the host have informed me passing it onto others, the road is not bad however would recommend a higher car, I had a kia picanto that done good but wouldn't recommend it for those with lower cars unless you know how to maneuver your way through, and the nearest mall is 20km away so if you plan to get stuff try doin it before arriving as the dirt road is abit long going back and forth for those that dont feel like driving constantly, unless you drive a bakkie you can fly through 🤣

It’s the perfect place to escape for peace and quiet. Secluded, though close enough to Johannesburg, so we can get there relatively quickly.

The peace, complete isolation and beautiful jackal song through the night. Absolute heaven if you need a mindful break.
