About this apartment rental

1 bedroom 1 bathroom newly updated, new carpet, new appliances and furniture. Queen sleeper sofa and ca king bed. Has all needs, dishes, utensils, cookware, coffee pot. Beach and pool towels, beach chairs, boogie boards and umbrella. Grounds are gated and have resort style pool, bbq area and spa. Ping pong, pool and small putting area. Ground are lush with several ponds and water features including a large gathering of koi fish. Each building has laundry area with washer and dryers for a small fee. Steps to the beach and Oceanside peer. Less than an hour away from San Diego and Disney.

It was very clean but it was very hot and took a while to cool down, the laundry was crazy having to get an app to do laundry and I couldn’t park my truck in the parking it was so tight, but wonderful area and clean

The condo was clean and in a great location. There were plenty of the “beach needs” (chairs, towels, etc.). We went the last week of June and the weather was perfect. Sunny and not too hot yet. Just a great experience and the host was very responsive and helpful. Only thing to be aware of is the parking space reserved for this condo is between a wall and a cement pillar so a bigger car or truck would have difficulty parking there. Other than that it was great!

Kitchen was well stocked, with just a couple of exceptions. The complex has a barbeque area, but the unit did not have any barbeque tools - tongs, brush. Also a couple of more wine glasses would have been nice. There was an issue with the dishwasher and it had to be replaced. It was handled quickly by the owners. I don't know when the unit was last used or checked, but when we opened the dishwasher there was an foul smell. Someone should have noticed before we got there. The welcome letter provided a lot of information, but there were a few things missing. There was no information on how to work the heating system (we were there in November). There was no information on where to put the garbage, what to recycle, and where to put the recycling. Also, the leaving instructions in the welcome letter were different from the instructions posted in the unit.

We just LOVE North Coast Village and stay there whenever we come to Oceanside. This place was clean, nicely decorated, and very well-stocked. We were SO grateful for the beach supplies: chairs, umbrella, wagon, towels. It was so helpful for our trip! Would stay again!

We loved this place! It was clean and comfortable. A short walk to the beach and had lots of great things for the beach (wagon, chairs, boogie boards)! Ben & Chrissy responded promptly. We loved our stay so much and can’t wait to come back again!

Facility is a comprised of separate buildings connected by a maze of tree lined pathways. Grounds are very well maintained, and protected by security fences. There are nearby restaurants, and the Oceanside peer is just a short walk down the beach.

The complex is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. We were surprised that we had to wait until exactly 3:00 to check in. We arrived at 2:50 and were told to come back in 10 minutes. The condo was well equipped, but the carpets are in need of a good cleaning or replacing. There were some wifi issues and we were 2 days without wifi. The owners were helpful in getting it back working.

This condo was just perfect - good size, on great property (lots of plants/waterfalls/etc), right next to beach. The overall property is huge with many units in smaller buildings of 3-4 floors. Lots of stairs to get around the property so not for mobility issues. Beach has smooth sand and fun watching the surfers.

We stayed at this property July 2022 and was very pleased. We came back in August of 2023 and was very disappointed. We came and there was no air conditioning unit. We tried to contact the owner, no response. My husband finally found it in the closet. Not set up and the remote did not work. My husband is 74 and he hurt his back pulling the unit out. He must out on 2 days at the beach. I went alone. Dishes and silverware were dirty. We are huge coffee drinkers, only 2 tablespoons of coffee. Air B&B Check out instructions are usually to load the dishwasher and run it. We had to dry and put away everything from the dishwasher. We finally made contact with the owner. He apologized & blamed the management company & said he would talk with his wife & refund some of our $. It never happened. We tried calling and he never answered. Never going back.

This was the perfect condo for a family trip. They had all the beach and pool items that kids want, including floaties, sand castle toys boogie boards, balls, etc. The pull out bed was comfortable and easy to use. There were some little surprises in the room that I will not spoil here. The host is very thoughtful. We already know and love the property. We used the outside bbqs every night and did bikes/beach/pool/hot tub on rotation every day. The kids loved the water running throughout the village and the paths. The place is full of vacationing families now, not the quiet retirement spot it once was.

The grounds are beautiful but there are alot of steps and stairs to get around, so if you can't do stairs, there are probably easier places to stay. You need a small car to use the garage parking space. The blinds in the condo do not work, but no major problem. Condo is comfortable and cozy.

We enjoyed our stay here! Great location, easy access to pool and beach. The AC in the bedroom was a huge plus for us as we stayed during a major heat wave. The unit was comfortable and quiet but keep in mind it’s on the first floor so there are people above. We didn’t spend much time inside during the day so it wasn’t really an issue for us. The unit was clean but the bathroom looked as it needed a good deep clean on the floor/baseboards and there was also trash behind the master bed. The owner of the unit does not respond to messages quickly. Overall we had a good time.

Once you figured out the paths it was easy to get to the beach. Pool was great. Great sunsets and walks on the beach. Restaurants near by. Some folks comment about the parking space for the unit being to small our suburban fit just fine. Definitely enjoyed our weekend!

We loved staying here. It was close to the beach with easy access. We didn’t have to worry about parking. It was within walking distance to Oceanside shop and restaurants. Trying to park and figure out how to check in was a little tricky. I think the bummer was not hearing anything from the hostess, especially that our full day at the condo would be spent without electricity from 8 am- 5 pm so they could overhaul the complex’s electric panels. That was very disappointing. No access to the pool, hot tub, gym- it was all shut down. No sleeping in, if you need to use lighting to get ready for the day. Communication would of prepared us better for the day or helped make the decision of paying to stay here. A little dishonesty, I think. The check in attendant had yo share the news as we checked in, asking if the hostess alerted us. Um, no she didn’t. Otherwise would look to stay here again when the electricity is on full time. 😏

Got in late and had trouble locating the place (that's on me) Once I found it the patrol crew there was immensely helpful Everything you needed was in the condo and the beach was just a few steps away.. I did eat entirely too much. complimentary candy. Would love to visit again..

It is like someone went in beforehand and planned out everything you possibly could need for a beach trip and put it in one condo. We were so impressed with the ease of using the condo and all the amenities. They kept the place including the facilities very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again another time.
