The apartment is located in the old town of Kavala and walking distance from the Kavala Fortress, one of the main city attractions. The host is a kind woman and was prompt to give me the keys. The place is clean and well-furnished.
The apartment has two ACs in the bedrooms, which had a bit of a moldy smell. We were there in the scorching heat of July and the air quality was poor with the ACs working. The apartment has no parking space and will be an absolute nightmare to find a parking for a car. The host helped me find a parking at a local café, but I will not count on it.
It was just too much hustle for one night stay. If you plan a longer trip and do not mind walking up and down on steep cobble streets, this place may actually be enjoyable.
