Good location, but "Kavala central square view 2" does not have at all view to the central square.

The property was clean, there was cold water for us to drink, and available coffee capsules to use with a coffe machine. Also it had warm water in the shower all day long. It had a refrigerator available

Although the name of the property is "Kavala central square view" our room didn't have at all view to the square. The owner is renting two separate rooms, named "Kavala central square view 1" and "Kavala central square view 2". If you are lucky to get "Kavala central square view 1" you will have a balcony over the central square, but if you are unlucky to get "Kavala central square view 2" (as we did) you will not have at all any view to the central square, you will not have a balcony and from the window you only see some old buildings in the back street. In the property pictures that I uploaded you may see the view from the window. The room was in the second floor accessible only with stairs (no elevator), which is difficult when you carry luggage. Also the room was rather small.

Because it's such a centered location, it also comes with the added noise of the city life. I heard music in the room till 3-4 am.

Superb

Nice, and cozy place in the center of Kavala. Close to street with taverns, shopping area, and to the port. Very well equipped. There were water, coffee and small chocolates. :) The balcony is with a great view. Only 20 min away from the city's beach. The host was very polite, and regarding to the instructions we found the room very easy.

It was very noisy. Most probably because of the taverns, we heard the music untill 5 a.m. And two of the nights it was ipossible to sleep, even with closed windows.

Το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται σε μια πολύ κεντρική και βολική τοποθεσία, γεγονός που αποτελεί και το κύριο πλεονέκτημά του. Το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό και περιείχε τα απαραίτητα.

Το κατάλυμα έχει προκύψει από μετατροπή ενός μοναδικού δωματίου με τρόπο που είναι αμφίβολο αν τηρεί τα προβλεπόμενα της σχετικής νομοθεσίας: εντός του δωματίου έχουν διαμορφωθεί με διαχωριστικά από τζάμι δύο επιπλέον χώροι, ο ένας για τουαλέτα κι ο άλλος για ντουζ, ενώ έχει τοποθετηθεί νηπτήρας εντός του δωματίου και εκτός των δύο αυτών αυτοσχέδιων χώρων. Με απλά λόγια, οι χώροι της τουαλέτας και της ντουζιέρας ΔΕΝ διαχωρίζονται από τον χώρο του υπνοδωματίου και βρίσκονται ουσιαστικά εντός αυτού, με ότι αυτό συνεπάγεται για τις οσμές και την υγρασία (η οπτική διαπερατότητα του τζαμιού μπορεί επίσης να είναι πρόβλημα για ζευγάρια που δεν είναι πολύ στενά συνδεδεμένα μεταξύ τους μια και κανείς μπορεί να δει από το κρεβάτι την ντουζιέρα και το WC). Ο νηπτήρας όπως προαναφέρθηκε βρίσκεται εκτός, και χρησιμεύει τόσο για να πλύνει κανείς το πρόσωπο και τα χέρια του όσο και για να πλύνει τα ...πιάτα και ποτήρια που χρησιμοποίησε! Επίσης, το δωμάτιο ήταν αρχικά πολύ κρύο και χρειάστηκε ώρα μέχρι να ζεσταθεί από το κλιματιστικό (το δάπεδο παρέμεινε παγωμένο ωστόσο), ενώ το ζεστό νερό είχε περιορισμό στην ποσότητα: όποιος πρόλαβε πρόλαβε - οι υπόλοιποι με κρύο νερό! Απαράδεκτο για δωμάτιο τόσο κεντρικής τοποθεσίας εν έτει 2026. Κερασάκι στην τούρτα η τηλεόραση (διαθέτει Y-tube και Netflix για να είμαστε δίκαιοι) την οποία ωστόσο κανείς δεν μπήκε στον κόπο να προγραμματίσει για επίγειες συχνότητες (ελληνικά και ξένα κανάλια). Σημαντικό να αναφερθεί ότι το δωμάτιο βρίσκεται στον δεύτερο όροφο όπου κανείς ανεβαίνει από μια παλιά στενή σκάλα μια και το κτίριο να διαθέτει ασανσέρ.

Μου άρεσε πολύ η τοποθεσία. Βρίσκεται στην καρδιά της Καβάλας. Έχει άπειρες επιλογές για φαγητό και διασκέδαση. Το κρεβάτι ήταν άνετο,υπήρχαν πετσέτες, μόνο που δεν υπήρχαν παντόφλες μιας χρήσης και ακόμη μία πετσέτα ποδιών.

Το μαξιλάρι δεν ήταν άνετο (για τα δικά μου γούστα) και η πολυκατοικία είναι παλιά χωρίς ασανσέρ! Επίσης,οι σκάλες ήταν μόνιμα με σταγόνες βρεγμένες με αποτέλεσμα να γλιστρησουμε! Για το Σαββατοκύριακο που μείναμε εμείς ήταν εντάξει αλλά δε θα έμενα περισσότερες ημέρες.
