Everything was just as described. The apartment is very nice and spacious. The location is great — close to the center of Ermoupoli, yet in a quiet neighborhood. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, even welcoming us with a lovely gift of local specialties and cold water.
The only two drawbacks were the kitchen, which was a bit poorly equipped (no bread knife, no kitchen napkins, some old rusty dishes, and an unpleasant smell coming from a kitchen cabinet), and the overall cleanliness, which could have been better. For example, I found some old dried residue on the washing machine in the bathroom, which was quite unpleasant.
