Antia House - Syros

Perfect stay for vacation! I loved the place, close to everything in Ermopouli!

The accommodation is a 10-minute walk from the harbor. The apartment is very nicely furnished. It has everything you need. There are two bathrooms with a shower. Both living rooms are on the lower level. There's a topper for the sofa bed, making it very comfortable to sleep on. The spiral staircase leads to the terrace, where you can sit and dry your laundry. Check-in was easy thanks to a key box. Supermarket and restaurants are all within walking distance.

Spacious. Comfortable bed. Washing machine.

We knew from photos that the stairs to the roof terrace looked a bit tricky. The reality is they're extremely narrow, no one overweight would be able to negotiate them. Virtually impossible to climb with a cup of coffee/ glass of wine to enjoy in the fresh air. You certainly couldn't carry a meal up. Difficult to carry washing up to dry. . The description says sea view, - only if you stand in a certain place can you see the meerest sliver of sea. No nearby supermarket. Electricity failure due to no instructions that the hot water switch was only to be used for about half an hour prior to needing hot water. Previous tenants/ cleaner had left it on so it overheated and blew the fuses.
