This was our first time visiting Martha’s Vineyard, and we made such great memories. Our favorite activities were the Flying Horses Carousel, whale watching tour in Cape Cod, and the Aquinnah/Gay Head Light area. We loved that the house was central to Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs, and Edgartown, as we found ourselves bouncing from town to town each day. the ferries to Woods Hole and Nantucket were so fun, and we loved admiring the New England architecture and hydrangeas everywhere. It was a full week of fun and adventure, and we hope to be back again someday!

Ellen's MV Hideaway is a great name for this property! Nestled in a quiet neighborhood the location is an easy and short drive to everywhere on the Island. There is plenty of space for visitor groups both large and small. From the large family style dining table to the comfortable couches and chairs in the den, living room, and basement all the furniture is first rate. Each bedroom has comfortable mattresses and a bathroom en suite, which we found to be very convenient. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials needed for those who enjoy cooking. The wrap-around deck and back patio are great features. We did use them a couple of times.Appliances are all modern and we put them to good use.Connecting to the Wi-Fi network was easy and we never experienced any glitches. The owner also has some sports equipment in the garage, such as bikes, tennis rackets (which we used), croquet, and kayak paddles. We found this to be a perfect setting that gave us a nice peaceful place to rest after being out and about every day.The owners were very communicative from the start of our trip planning to the end. We were provided very clear and reasonable instructions regarding "house rules" which we appreciated very much.We recommend Ellen's MV Hideway!

This property is absolutely beautiful, from the outside landscaping to the decor inside. It is wonderfully located - minutes from both Oaks Bluff and Edgartown. The property owners were extremely attentive and helpful with recommendations on places to stay and things to do. Lastly, cleanliness is extremely important to me and it was impeccably clean from top to bottom.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Ellen's MV Hideaway, for a week long vacation with four adult children. The house is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood in a great location, and is just as it is shown in the pictures. The landscaping is very pretty. The kitchen is well equipped with nice appliances. The decor is beautiful with quality furnishings. There are three family room areas, and each bedroom has comfortable beds, with a separate, nicely designed bath. We all had plenty of room to gather and plenty of privacy. I'm very picky about where I stay and this house did not disappoint!
