Beachfront Duplex (South unit) with unobstructed & secluded ocean views!

Having stayed at this location several years ago we found the description of the property to be accurate and that there had been several upgrades. It was pleasant, well appointed and the host was willing to not only start our stay early on the day of our arrival but willing to grant a small exception that we requested. We would highly recommend this property.

Perfect location! Steps to the beach. Walking distance to some great restaurants. The host was easy to work with and very responsive when an issue came up.

Martha was amazing to communicate with. Duplex was very comfortable for me, my husband and our small dog. Location is perfect. Place stocked with all that you need. Would definitely return.

Many really great parts, some not so much. It just wasn't what we expected. Very good parts: 1. Martha was very responsive to anything we needed. 2. Right on the beach, 75 feet away. 3. Everything needed was in both the kitchen, and all of the beach toys were provided. Some things I suppose just weren't expected, were a disappointment. 1. This is not a 2 bedroom condo. One bedroom was more a closet. A full bed barely fit in, no furniture except a plastic drawer container for a chest. Bedroom was 20 feet from the road, which every car/ambulance/motorcycle was loudly/clearly heard, even at 6 a.m. 2. The upstairs bedroom was a loft, with an accordion door into both the loft and the adjoining bathroom. Effectively no privacy, anything you were doing upstairs was clearly heard downstairs. Did have a beautiful view of the water though. Another full bed, two adults cannot sleep comfortably in either. 3. A mystery, not a dangerous thing I suppose but the floor in the kitchen tilted probably 3-4 inches over the width of the floor. 4. Being in a duplex did allow us to meet some nice people over the course of our stay. Excellent yard space for pets, which some of our neighbors had and took good care of. If I had to sum up our whole 3 week stay, I would have to say this rental would be a wonderful place if you were a younger group of friends, maybe from college, who could live and play together without needing any privacy. Perfect for college kids. For two middle age, older couples needing some privacy and peace and quiet occasionally, this is not the place you want to be. Live and learn.
