About this house rental
Relax in a secluded mountain retreat. Nestled on an acre of private land, this cozy space is full of natural light, beautiful forest views and close to all the Jemez mountains have to offer. The property is minutes from the Valles Caldera and other nearby hiking, fishing and hunting(6A). A quick 40 min drive will have you on the slopes of Pajarito ski area or exploring Bandalier national monument. Enjoy early morning elk or deer making their way through the yard and an afternoon game of cornhole in the shade. Please note** we are located off of an unpaved forest road. Our road is unimproved and subject to weather conditions. 4-Wheel drive is not necessary in the warm months, but may be in winter. A higher clearance vehicle is recommended all seasons( message us if you are unsure). This is a mountain dwelling, off the beaten path. No host/manger on site. There is no trash service in the area, so guests are required to “pack it out”.

We had an amazing 5 day stay, cabin had all the necessities and kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots, pans and utensils etc. Awesome windowed sun room overlooking the woods where we watched some Elk, a bobcat, assorted woodpeckers, birds and hummingbirds. Hummingbird and seed feeders supplied. Very quiet, peaceful, enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere.
