The location of the monastery is in the mountains, peaceful and quiet. Lots of walking trails in the mountains and forest, free sledges provided by the hotel. The overall atmosphere is warm and friendly, thank you Romy (lady on reception), for your care and kind suggestions! In the end we were quite happy and wanted to come back again.
Facilities are outdated, tiny shower cubicle, and quite basic furniture in the room.

Great location on the trailhead to Serles.
Nice breakfast and very friendly staff.

The hotel communicated with us prior to our arrival, highlighting that dinner was only served until 18-30pm. This didn't present a problem as we arrived in good time. The food served on the hotel terrace was of a high standard. It was also great to watch the sunset whilst enjoying a few drinks with friends. An amazing location and facilities, a must visit if your in this area while travelling.
Possibly the kitchen serving a little later, but this would not stop me revisiting.

Staff was exceptional and made us feel welcomed. The location is beautiful and quiet. Dinner was great at the restaurant!
The winter road is dangerous and chains are required; something I wish it was made clear before the booking. There's a shuttle available but obviously that means you can also take it at specific times (the staff tried their best accommodate us). Wifi is also available at the vicinity of the reception only.

The best thing about this stay is definitely location and peace one has there.
The room was spacious and clean.
1.Our room was on the 3d floor and there's no WiFi there. There is also no mobile reception at that high, but I think the hotel could bother and buy an additional WiFi router for rooms in 2d and 3d floor.
2.We had dinner once there and it was Käsespätzle with extreme amount of oil...we couldn't finish our portions due to that. Plus dishes are quite pricey... I'd recommend just driving down to the village and have a proper lunch/dinner there for same money.
3. Bathroom... Apparently they just put camper bathroom in a hotel room...super tiny, with no possibility to even turn there ... But the hallway is twice the size for some reason.

It's kind of a fairy place hidden into the woods. Comfy huge room with terrific view and polite staff. Hope to enjoy another staying soon.

Amazing place to relax and take some incredible walks all around the mountains. Good breakfast and dinner service. Dogs allowed. Cool christmas market in town (15 min by car)
You have to bring your snow chains if you get there in winter. Rooms are very very simple. Wifi just around reception

We were given a very, very basic room that looked like a student dormitory from the 1970s, with smelly pillows and uncomfortable beds we couldn't get any rest in after a long round trip from Italy. The hotel had barely any guests and the boutique room pictures advertised on booking.com are extremely far from reality. If these rooms do exists somewhere in there, I don't understand why the hotel wouldn't allocate them to us. The hotel restaurant was open for very limited hours and the whole property closed on our second day (Monday=ruhetag), which made it impossible for us to buy any food for our 2 year old. I also don't understand why this was not communicated to us prior to our arrival to at least give us a chance to prepare. Overall, I was so embarrassed on behalf of the owners that we just left the keys at the reception the next morning and departed for home. I run a boutique hotel in Prague and wouldn't even imagine doing something like this to our Austrian guests here. Maybe it all happened because we're Czechs, while Austrians do have a reputation for being racist towards us, who knows. Attaching pictures for your amusement.

What a fantastic location! Away from civilization at this super quiet location. Excellent if you love hiking.
Very small check in window. Bathroom is tiny.

The road to the location was beautiful, we enjoyed so much! The room we’ve got was spacious and clean. There was a free parking. There was a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The woman receiving us was friendly.
To be honest, the stay was quite a disappointing experience. We don’t quickly write a negative review. However, the price of our stay (148 euro) was in our opinion not equal to what was served. Arriving we had to wait 20 min before somebody came and help us. The room was big and clean with a nice view. The bathroom however was super small and in the shower we found out the shampoo and showergel were empty.
We booked this hotel because of the great location, but also because they presented themself online with good cuisine and a chique restaurant with good food. Arriving in the dining room we were shocked. It looked more like a big cafetaria with brown sticky tables. For sure it was not the candle light diner with white linen tables portayed in the pictures. The schnitzel was really not the best and the desert apfelstrudel we didn’t finish. The food is by far not what is portrayed on the pictures and to be honest i question if the pictures are not just from pinterest. When we arrived the next morning at breakfast the disappointment was even bigger. When we arrived at 9.00 (breakfast till 10.00) the room was empty and looked attacked by big groups of guests with a lot of food gone already. The breakfast was oke, a baguette with some cheese, again really disappointing compared to the pictures?? The fruit in the bowl smelt and tasted like acid. There was a little plate with small pieces of cake, uncertain if these where leftovers of a guest, or pieces to take? There was a moody looking woman cleaning, ignoring us and answering rather rude with a short yes when we asked if we could use the breakfast. When my boyfriend made coffee from the machine she starts yelling no no no and running to him , again rather rude telling we are not allowed to use the machine and instructed him that he had to take the coffee from another table.

The location is amazing. There is no doubt about that.
Incompetent staff, that makes you feel unwelcome and almost like a unwanted visitor to their home. Also, we were told that there is only soup left in the kitchen when we arrived. But people who arrived after us have been offered an entire list of regular meals by the same waitress, who has been pushy the entire time. This place used to be great. Our entire family used to drive up here. But since it has changed owners, it is nothing like it used to be. And it is extremely overpriced, for having a plastic box that feels like you are on a boat, instead of a bathroom and the cheapest IKEA pictures on the walls. It feels like the owner can't decide if he wants to stay with the monastery feel or turn it into a modern hotel. Either of which is done well. The spirit is gone, and it's a big shame.

No WIFI and very basic standard in the rooms.

Posto spettacolare!!!
