Gabriel Guesthouse

We were welcomed upon our arrival and shown to our room, very friendly. Our room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. It had a fridge, a tv, a wardrobe, a fan, a lamp, a dressing table, a fresh jug of water and a kettle. There were glasses and mugs, cutlery and teabags, milk, sugar, sweeteners and coffee on a little dining table with 2 chairs. We stayed one night, we had tickets for a show in the pavilion a short walk away and it was perfect for us. There was a shared bathroom as others state, which you are made aware of before booking. This was no issue, so don't let it put you off staying, there was never a queue for the bathroom and there are other bathrooms on other floors if there is someone in there and you're desperate, we never had to use a different one but you're also made aware of this too. The bathroom is a very good size with a bath and shower in it too, very clean and has toilet paper. Very pleased with our stay and would stay again, thank you.

There was nothing to dislike

Location was perfect Host was very helpful kind Room was Great

Nothing

Great location, great value for money, lovely staff

Shared bathroom but was super clean

Location was good, outside of the property was decently maintained as-well as the lobby. Plenty of parking.

Shared bathroom could have been 10x cleaner, everyone’s used soap and toiletries stuck to the side of the bath, shower, also filling the cupboards (these look like they had been here some time) . Bedroom had spiders, damp and cobwebs everywhere. Furniture could do with a freshen up. Window closing screw was rusted which prevented the window being shut, draft and thin bedding did little to keep the room warm. Host was friendly and polite but came across awkward. Strange diagram against the window in the lobby, wasn’t sure what to make of it.Sadly wouldn’t recommend staying here for the price we paid and the level of comfort that came with it.
