Avoid at all costs

The breakfast and coffee was the only thing that was good.

Absolute Nightmare Cash only policy. Insisting on paying cash for everything. Even your breakfast. ."Looks like a tax avoidance fiddle" Communication was a struggle with a receptionist who could hardly speak English. Lots of unsavoury characters in the hotel lodging there. Looked like smack heads. The mattress in our room was old, worn and very uncomfortable with springs sticking into your back and every other crevice of your body. I looked like a waffle in the morning with the imprints on my buttocks!! No hot water for the shower. "Not even warm" After complaining, the excuse we got, was no maintenance available. Very dangerous steps and lack of signage. "Health and safety wise," An absolute disaster. Upon checking the room on departure, the receptionist attempted to charge me an extra £19 for a tiny spec of blood on the sheet. I had a tiny sore on the side of my leg and apparently, they would have had to throw the sheet away because it couldn't be cleaned !?!?. UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND ALL OF THOSE THINGS I HAVE MENTIONED, AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

The room was new and clean

The check in procedure was an hour long.the room is done out I tiles which considering it's on Rhyl sea front in the winter with minimal heating isnt great. The shower never gets hot. The place looks ok but just isnt well coming or fit for purpose.

We would definitely come back again if we could get same room

The location with the closeness to the centre and having a first floor room was ideal.

The only thing we didn’t like was the horrible smell that was coming through our windows on the first two nights but once sorted it was great.

Liked location and the room was very big

Receptionist couldn’t really understand English. The bed had pubes on it. The bathroom had weird mold in the shower base. The curtains didn’t close fully and the windows are large, the street lamp was shining through the gap where the curtains didn’t close all night…. The consumer box was above my door! Not safe at all. The windows didn’t open, no air con not even a fan the room was far too hot. Then to check out, we had to wait for them to start their shift and she was late…. Silly having no 24/7 reception. The ‘hotel’ is just a hostel and smack head central. Will not be staying again

Worst night of are life

The property is terrible, it is full of homeless drug addicts,it stinks and and as we entered the property with are 9 year old daughter on Saturday night drug addicts were fighting in front of the main entrance…we also had no electric all night and in the morning before we left. The place is bad and my wife and daughter nearly threw up because of the smell and of cannabis and shit in the hotel.
