This was our second stay at this property and can’t say enough good things about it. It’s in a perfect location with quick and easy access to hikes, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. But you don’t need to leave the property to have a great time. Morning sunrise views from the expansive, wrap around porches were breathtaking! House was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for the perfect getaway. Highly recommend this property.

Awesome place to stay. Great location for a ski trip 7 minutes from Beech MtN and 20 from Sugar MtN. Accommodated 11 guys with no issue at all. Very nice view and great communication from the owner. Definitely will book again when we come back for our next ski trip in NC.

Our stay at 'Fairway to Heaven' was more than satisfactory. The few minor glitches we encountered were promptly handled by the owner, with whom we had very good communication. The house was very clean and in good working order. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. There was a little trouble with the ice-maker in the fridge door, but all other appliances worked perfectly. The TVs are not Smart, but they are equipped with standard cable, so there is a good viewing selection and reception was excellent. There were a couple of internet outages, but these were clearly attributable to Spectrum and not the owner’s equipment. Otherwise, coverage and speed were excellent. All of the furniture we used was comfortable and clean. Being a couple, we only utilized the master bedroom and bath. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless and roomy. And although temperatures were generally pleasant most of the time, it was nice to have the room AC units to cut the heat back a bit during the day, considering this was August. We also got some good use out of the pool table which was in excellent condition. The covered decks are spacious with a good selection of seating, especially the cozy swinging daybed. The only thing missing was a dining table. Of course, the views are magnificent. The layered mountain view off the back decks was exactly what you would expect in a resort brochure, and the panorama of the #1 Fairway of the golf course off the front deck was beautiful and relaxing. And don’t forget to bring some deer corn if you want a true brush with nature. We actually ended up hand-feeding a few of the local population, while observing dozens more during our visit. All in all, we regarded this to be one of the better homes we have rented, and we would definitely consider renting again.
