An impressive NINE FOOT BRONZE Elk STATUE adorns the front of this home( great for taking memorable pictures!) Located in a MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR GATED COMMUNITY.

Fantastic views! Stayed at this property for daughter's wedding. Accommodated the entire family of 12. Very clean with nice kitchen, easily accessible and in a beautiful neighborhood. A few improvements could be made including extra towels, toiletries, improved pillows, non-working downstairs TV and could use some updated decor and mattresses. Property manager was gracious however didn't necessarily address concerns in timely manner.

This home has excellent mountain views and a nice back deck from which to see the valley and distant mountains. The property was clean but perhaps a bit dated. Large rooms and space to entertain ten people. The huge dining room table was a plus! We would certainly rent this property again if we come back to Banner Elk.

Wonderful views! Plenty of room for our party of 9 adult, but listing did not specify types of beds. No room had two beds to allow sharing of two adults who didn't want to sleep in the same bed. Beds were comfortable. Bedrooms did not have mirrors or chairs to help with dressing! Oven did not heat properly. Two lights in dining room burned out. One light in powder room burned out. Some furniture (elaborate mirror frames, carved furniture needed deeper cleaning, as did carpets behind night tables.Help!We left a pair of sweatpants either in room in garage, or mixed with sheets when removed for wash. Would appreciate hearing if they were found and if we can have them mailed.Thanks,Nancy and gang

The property was not very clean. You need to come prepared with your own soap, trash bags, dish soap, etc. and you must and provide your own firewood and matches.
It was advertised as a "multi-million" dollar property... it definitely did not live up to this description.
It was a lot to pay and we expected a much nicer house.
