Perfect location for Lisieux and area

All on one level - off road parking next to accommodation - comfortable sitting/dining area - comfortable bed - great shower! Croissants and French baguette delivered every morning.

Very clean, comfortable, enjoyable place to stay.

Breakfast - croissants and a baguette - was brought by the host, who had bought it from the boulangerie. The location was very convenient for our journey as we disembarked from the early evening Portsmouth - Le Havre ferry and wanted somewhere no more than an hour away.

Having spent a night there 12 months previously, We were familiar with the location and parking arrangements.

Well kitted out spacious accommodation that won’t break the bank!

Spacious accommodation,walking distance into town. Host delivered lovely croissants and bread for breakfast. Excellent wifi and good shower. Host spoke good English and was very helpful. We were able to park right outside the front door to the accommodation.

No hanging space or hooks in bedroom only one place a stand alone hanging space to put a jacket or similar on. This wasn’t a big problem for us as we only stayed 2 nights. There is a large chest of drawers though. Also only a large bath towel each no hand towels.

6 pm check in . But we were allowed to check in at 5. If check in time suits you go for the place . It is very nice. Otherwise quite a long wait in a relatively dull town to check in

The house was amazing with everything we could possibly need. It was beautifully decorated and the locality was perfect so we could walk everywhere.We could park our car right at the door. What we like the most was our host! We were running late because of weather condition and she patiently waited for us until we got to her place. This place is very spacious but cozy. It was clean and comfortable. Parking is right next to the property. Our lovely host also got us fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Merci beaucoup 💗

A very nice, helpful and patient landlady. She speaks English which is not common in France. Products for breakfast in the fridge, fresh bread / bakery every morning at an agreed time. Very comfortable flat.

Aircondition or at least fan would be an advantage in hot summer.

Lisieux, great - but beware arriving on a Sunday.

La ville a la campagne is an large established and well presented self-contained property a few metres away from the host's house. It had a living/dining area, spacious bedroom and ensuite - all rooms were large. There was adequate street parking very close by. The host brought a good fresh breakfast to the door. A twenty minute walk will take you to the city centre.

Lisieux is an attractive small city, but our one-day visit happened to be a Sunday afternoon arrival, staying just overnight. A few cafes/shops were open in the afternoon, but virtually all restaurants and bars were closed in the evening, presumably because it was Sunday. After a lengthy search we located an Indian restaurant (which was very good) but saw nothing else that was open. If you visit on a Sunday, have some provisions with you or arrive in the morning.

This is a very comfortable place to stay. It's private, quiet, spacious, with a comfortable bed. It is a short walk into town. A fresh breakfast was brought to us in the morning!

Very helpful and went out of their way to help me - picking me up and dropping me off at the train station and just being really approachable and easy to communicate with. The property was great, very comfortable and a short walk to the centre - I felt at home and could’ve stayed much longer!

Petit appartement agréable

Le logement est spacieux. Les stores permettent d'avoir une obscurité totale la nuit. Il y a un ventilateur (un peu bruyant). Bonne douche. Kitchenette bien équipée : frigo, micro-ondes, plaques de cuisson, cafetière, bouilloire. Le wifi fonctionne bien. Il y a une petite télé. Le logement est assez joli.

Le petit déjeuner est très succinct. Baguette, croissant, jus d'orange, café, thé. Mais pas de lait (heureusement on en avait 🙏), pas de fruits, ni de yaourts.

Bon emplacement pour visiter Lisieux.

Bien placé, stationnement facile gratuit devant le logement. Bien équipé, installation sanitaire neuve et très bien entretenue. Logement très propre.

Attention car il y a des dénivelés entre les pièces en enfilade. Je ne conseille pas à des personnes âgées ! La pièce principale d'entrée, bien que l'isolation soit forte, laisse un peu entendre les bruits du passage des véhicules dans la rue. La chambre étant à l'opposé, on n'entend plus rien c'est même le calme total.

L'accès de plain pied à l'appartement efficace pour ma compagne en situation de handicap! L'équipement très correct et complet pour cuisiner et vivre comme chez soit. Pas trop loin du centre ville de Lisieux

Lit confortable comme il se doit mais un peu trop bas(assise en dessous de la hauteur standard de 45 cms) pour des personnes ayant des difficultés liés à pathologies sévères du dos.
