About this house rental

Country home in the woods, 4 Bedroom, 2 full baths 1600 sq. ft. sleeps 9. Upper level is open plan great room with full kitchen, stove, microwave , toaster oven, coffee pot, island bar and dining table. The living room area has a couch and two recliners and an electric fireplace to enjoy as you relax watching T.V. or movies. Four bedrooms on upper level, 1 queen bed, 1 full and 2 twin beds. Walk out full basement rec room with 1 full bed, 1 twin bed and a futon. There is a dig dug arcade game, two foosball tables, air hockey, T.V., hundreds of family and classic videos, board games. Living area with group seating for 9. Open concept basement is accommodating for celebrations, events, retreats, gatherings, holidays, and get togethers. There are two full bathrooms, one on each level. Washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. A park like setting in the woods, with picnic table, gas grill, and fire ring for creating family memories at the evening camp fire. White-tailed deer and wild turkey sightings abound in the area. Three miles from Tappan Lake Park, 2 miles from Clendening Lake. Step back in time and visit the 120 year old Deersville General Store where you can indulge yourself in 12 flavors of world famous homemade ice cream. While you're here, come enjoy time at Tappan or Clendening lakes with swimming, boating, fishing, hiking or just relaxing on the porch swing as the setting sun streams through the tall trees. There's something for everyone to enjoy on your get-a-way.

We had a great stay the property was very nice had everything we needed only thing is they should put in description is theres no internet we have a grandson with type 1 diabetes and need internet for his pump to work we lucked out and he did get enough so he could stay but the cabin and surrounding were terrific and close for fishing and swimming great place to stay

Our family just got back from a 6 night stay, and are already excited for our trip next year! Sharon is an AMAZING host who keeps the placed stocked with anything you could imagine and then some. The property is soo beautiful and exactly what we needed. Our 5 year old absolutely loved the basement with all the games and room to play.

The host was very friendly. The home was large and beautiful. Way too much space for our family of four but we enjoyed every minute. We are thinking about coming back with more family one day. The area is very woody and lots of animals. It’s gorgeous. There are LOTS of stink bugs, spiders, and giant ants. If you don’t like bugs this isn’t the place for you. We are used to cabins and camping so it was cool for us. We just helped the buggers outside lol. There is nothing this kind woman can do about it but the backyard “neighbor” has lots of unwelcoming and threatening signs on their property to let people know to stay off. She has put up a giant fence and everything is front, so besides looking out a back window, it’s easy to pretend the guy isn’t there. The game room was so much fun. We played air hockey and there is an arcade game! She literally had everything. So if you forget anything, you have nothing to worry about. This is a true getaway. No call service. To wifi. Just time with each other.

They thing available, comfortable beds, room to watch movies, play games with our friends. Movies to accommodate young and old. Wonderful fire pit to roast hot dogs, make s’mores, talk sing songs. We loved the beautiful wooded property, fire ring with wood supplied, spacious home, and incredibly well-stocked kitchen. Morning coffee on the balcony was a great way to start each day. The ice cream at nearby Deersville general store was delicious. Enjoyed beautiful hike at Tappan Lake.

This was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The property is very secluded so keep that in mind. If you are looking for privacy and quiet-it's perfect. Without WiFi and spotty cellphone reception, you can really get away from the pull of social media. Relax in this roomy, nicely decorated and well stocked home away from home. The basement area was great, although we didn't utilize it as much as we could have. Everything you need is provided to have a wonderful trip.
