About this house rental

Our cozy 4 bedroom home will be the perfect getaway for families, couples or ladies getaways. We are located in the heart of Sugarcreek with easy access to restaurants, bakeries, shopping, wineries, entertainment and cheese.

There are 4 upstairs bedrooms (3 Queen beds, 2 twin beds, and 1 kids tent with twin mattress). Full bath upstairs, with shower and tub.

Downstairs we have a daybed and trundle, which can accommodate 2 people. This is helpful for those that do not feel comfortable walking up the steps. Downstairs full bath includes a shower only.

The large living area has plenty of space for guests to relax and enjoy the 52" HD smart television with Hulu/Netflix accounts. High speed Wi-Fi is included. The fully renovated kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, fridge, coffee pot and toaster. Basic pots and pans, along with dishes are provided. The dining room can seat 6 people with plenty of room to eat in the living area also.

Nice patio with small tables and chairs and a fire pit with 4 Adirondack chairs. Bring your own wood.

Small pets (under 40 lbs.) are welcomed for an additional fee. Please clean up after them outside.

The location was great. However, we have a few suggestions to make it really good. Since there are no laundry facilities on site, you need more towels and better quality. Since there is no dishwasher, you need more cup towels and dish rags. Need ice trays and paring knives.

Good morning. I hate to have to complain but the property was not clean when we arrived. Headboards were dusty, not sure when it had been swept and mopped especially under tv stand and furniture. Underneath the couch cushions were nasty, we were looking for something we had lost and had to check there. Bathtub needs a good cleaning and the bathroom rugs were nasty , as well as the rug in the dining room. And having a spraying shower head would be wonderful. Pillows really need to be replaced, even folding them double still didn’t make a decent pillow. Although the house is an older home , it was cute . But that being said it definitely needs some cleaning and attention. Hopefully these things will be addressed before your next guest arrives. Have a blessed day.

The house was very clean and nicely established. Everything was in a very accessible place and allowed plenty of room for everybody without being on top of each other. The amenities were plentiful and it truly felt that the openers took great time and consideration to reach out to all that were staying, regardless of age. The host was also very quick to respond to any concerns that I had. I would recommend this host to anyone that would ask or be searching for the perfect get away home.

The cleaning crew could do a better job. The entry door was filthy and the light on the back porch was out so was very dark to enter at night. Would have liked to have had drinking glasses in the kitchen. The bedrooms worked for us and the location is great!

Our 8 adult family members really enjoyed the house and our stay here from Aug 8-11. The house is in a great location to see all of Holmes County Amish areas. Also close enough to go to NFL Hall of Fame for football lovers. The house had plenty of room for 8 adults but you might want to bring extra towels if your large family showers a lot.We would stay there again. Beautiful country to visit.

House was in a great location to get to everywhere. I loved that they had plenty of games and a basketball for the kids to play. There was no fire pit as listed which was a little bit of a bummer since we brought s’mores stuff. Communication with owner was a bit delayed. But overall would recommend!

Check in was very easy, and the communication from the host was excellent. We stayed the weekend in Amish Country with two other couples for my husband's 60th birthday. It was a great, laid-back weekend! The house served our needs and didn't break the bank! Sleeping space for 3 couples (could've slept 2 more couples), full-service kitchen, and a place to hangout and relax (we watched a movie one night and or girls high school basketball team win the state tournament the next night)! Location is convenient, though can be tricky pulling out of driveway, but not bad. Only one bathroom upstairs. Other bathroom is on the main level, off the kitchen. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of. We would definitely stay here again. Good value for the money!

There was a room for everyone, no bunking up together. Great location! We were close to everywhere we wanted to go. House description does say basic pots & pans. We wish we had another larger pan or two. We made breakfast before we headed out each day and we needed another. The living room was wonderful to sit together & visit.

We had a great time. Everything was just perfect for our group. Great communication with our hots. Easy check in and out. Only a couple of suggestions. Perhaps something out front to help landmark the house so it’s easy to identify when you’re arriving since it’s at such an interesting spot and some sensor lighting that comes on in the back after you pull in to help when arriving after dark. Having said that we were so pleased not to hear traffic and great places were close by for everything we needed. Planning to book next year for sure!

Very little mention, if at all, relating to the horrendous traffic on Route 39 which was only feet from the very front causing a great deal of concern entering and exiting. Being deaf was a blessing not having to hear the traffic. Could not get the TV operational the first day and into the evening of the second. Was made to feel it was my problem, yet finally advised that it was in fact due to the son of the owner having changed the password. Several other issues not worthy of mention.

We had a short family vacation 1 from Alabama , 2 from Florida, 2 from WV, 2 from Ohio. The house was quaint and charming. Nicely decorated with a fully equipped kitchen. The 2 bathrooms were clean and accommodating. This house comes fully stock for comfortable stay PLENTY of hot water. We would consider staying there again

Location was great. Quiet neighborhood and a nice cottage style house. My only complaints was a lot of the mattresses are old and I just didn't sleep well on them, also no washer and dryer for the limited number of towels supplied. All in all it was a nice place to settle down after a day of Amish touring!
