About this farm stay rental

This home is located on 2 acres in Ohio Amish country. We are fully stocked for 12-14 people including all linens and towels. We do charge a $5 per person charge per day for parties over 6. Water for drinking and cooking is provided through a water softener as well as a drinking water filtration system due to having well wCameroon. just installed a whole jouse filtration system as well in March 2025. There are always snacks, coffee, teas, and hot chocolate available. Laundry available with supplies and a game room for everyone. Sit on the patio by the fire pit (wood and outside chairs included) while you watch the Amish buggies clip clop by. Lots to do and see in the area. We have four bedrooms that include a queen bedroom on the first floor, a futon in the den on the first floor, a double bedroom and two twins in a bedroom on the second floor , and a set of bunks, two singles, and a futon on the lower level. We also have two full baths on the first floor. If you have horses - they are welcome as well.

The owner and host of this property is very good about communication. She goes above and beyond to make the stay welcoming. For instance, when we checked in with her about whether or not there was a DVD player for us to use with our grandkids, she wasn't sure the one there worked, so she went out of her way and had one delivered from Amazon the day that we arrived. We used the property for cousins camp for our 14 grandchildren for a long weekend. The house is well supplied with food, snacks, and other amenities like games and extra towels and cleaning supplies. Instructions for check-in and check out were very clear.You do need to know that this is an older house with 3 floors of sleeping quarters. I do not know that it would be suitable for older people unless it was just one bedroom that was needed, which is on the 1st floor. It was a little chilly downstairs in the bedroom where our grandsons slept. The 2 bathrooms are on the same floor and do not offer a lot of extras. We could have used more counter space for all the people we had. The scenery around us was beautiful, and we saw Amish buggies passing by all the time. The grandchildren loved seeing this. There was plenty of yard space for them to play as well.

We rented this house to be able to visit the college of Wooster. My granddaughter is a freshman and this was family weekend. The house only 19 minutes away. It was a quiet area so peaceful after lots of walking during the day. The house has a well stocked kitchen, beds were comfortable, very clean lots of space to spread out. We enjoyed a fire and watch the buggies go by.

We reserved this property for our wedding party to stay at and it was a lovely choice! The rambling house had plenty of sleeping space for our guests, as well as nice community area in the spacious kitchen and living room. Overall, we were very impressed.

This is the second year in a row we've booked this house. We took advantage of the nice weather and used the outside grill and fire pit. The house comes fully stocked with everything you need to cook meals. There's a lot of Amish buggies that pass by the house so be prepared to share a waive or two if you are sitting outside. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again.

We were in town visiting family nearby and we loved the location. The house is adorable and my kids loved all the toys and games throughout the house. My big kids loved to play basketball outside. The only reason I cant give it 5 stars is because there was a problem with the water filtration system but I called the property manager and they already knew about it and have a plan to fix it.

Half of the ceiling in the room with the fosse ball table had exposed pink fiberglass insulation for the ceiling. To use the bunk room, I had to go thru another basement room with the exposed pink fiberglass insulation. The door leading outside, in the bunk room, had thick black mold in the corner and along the bottom of the door & about another 15 inches of floor. I have pictures. The dehumidifier canister in the bunk room was also moldy. The bunk room had at lease 50 spiders in multiple places. The closets in the Master bedroom were completely full of things stuffed in them. A board, on the grey futon, that holds up the part to sit on was completely broken & hanging down a few inches below the futon. I let the owner’s son know (when he came to fix the shower head that did not work). He took pictures, but never offered to fix it the entire 4 ½ weeks we were there. The futon room was listed as a bedroom but there is no door on it. The kitchen and bathroom had ants. We sprayed at lease 10 times but never fully got rid of them. We found mouse poop in multiple drawers in the kitchen and caught a mouse but found a dead mouse at the top of a cabinet in a trap we did not set. The water in the house had a very strong sulphur smell. The picture submitted by the owner of the bedroom with the 2 twin beds does not show that a person has to walk thru the room with twin beds to get to the room with the double bed.

This home has much to offer any family. There are multiple places for people to sleep, and the host has provided many things that make the house feel like home, from camp chairs for a bonfire to books and coloring pages for children to a kitchen that is fully stocked. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you.

We've come to Amish Country many, many times, since 2009 - so we've stayed at all sorts of places from treehouses, cabins, lodge, hotel, etc., etc. This was our first time getting a house through VRBO and we absolutely LOVED it!!! It was the cutest little house with the kids getting to figure out what bed they wanted from all the options. They enjoyed the warm, homey feel about it and gave it two thumbs-up. Our oldest son has autism, so staying in a place where we can't interrupt neighbors if he's noisy is really essential, so this was amazing to be away from the crowds and enjoy family time!! I would highly recommend it for families, since it has so much to offer - we played in the game room and played a bored game, played with legos, etc., etc. We really hope to get to come back next year too as our new home away from home!!!

Great location. Nice farmhouse decor. Still needs some updating. The hard water had a really bad odor. We used bottled water for most things. The outside didn’t look like the online pictures. Landscaping needs some work. It was a good trip for us and may use again if they get the whole house water filter system in. It was well stocked with everything we needed plus more.

This was even better than we saw in the pictures! What a spacious whimsical cottage vibe. Clean, more than expected in accommodations. Extra toiletries and snacks. Plenty of coffee! An entire closet full of games. Beautiful outside, fire pit, chairs and string lights. We stayed 2 nights for a wedding in Millersburg and the price was 100% fair. Very very happy, will stay again if we are ever down there again!

We spent a weekend here with three generations of family from ages 8-70, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Lots of sleeping options and places for separate space when needed, but a nice sized kitchen and living room for gathering. My mom and mil loved being right in the heart of Amish country. My kids enjoyed playing basketball outside, and the fire pit was a bonus for all of us! Tess was SO sweet and ordered a funnel cake mix for us after I inquired about it. She also had a very generous selection of snacks and coffee and teas (my kids were thrilled to find pop tarts, haha). We would definitely stay here again if we came back and would recommend!

The only issue we had were the ants in the kitchen. Which we found odd because the weather was cold and there was not a crumb or anything in sight. Also the high rust in the water was very noticeable by the smell. So taking a shower was very tricky and you could not drink or use it to cook with. Luckily we were not there much but the house was a cute house and very spacious.

As long as you like an old fashioned farmhouse, which we did, this was a good place to stay!! There was some difficulty with iron in the water, but we were provided with filtered water, and we had family nearby where we could wash clothes. I believe the owners will soon have that issue taken care of!
