Friendly host, location is very good, even without a car.
kitchen was smallish, would suggest to stock up kitchen a little , also some more tools.

This place was absolutely perfect. Lake Brienz is so picturesque, with the most amazing views coming in on the train. The accommodation is so cosy and only a short walk to restaurants, shops and the train station. You can catch a bus or walk about 15 mins to Brienz where you can then get on the Brienz Rothorn Bahn (a must do!). It also doesn't take long getting to Grindelwald via the train line, with only 1 changeover.
