Bergblick Apartments - Weisshorn

A beautiful interior with high quality fixtures and fitments. Very comfortable, well appointed and clean.

This is a high end property with a high end price tag to match. So, we would have expected a welcome pack to get us started, ie tea bags, coffee, some fruit. A nice touch we have appreciated is a bottle of local wine. Admittedly, small touches, but ones that give a more “human” touch.

- Wir haben nichts zu beanstanden. Ein paar Schüsseln für‘s morgendliche Müesli könnte man noch ergänzen und evtl. noch ein paar Zusatzinfos zum Fernseher und den verfügbaren Programmen/ Streamingmöglichkeiten geben.

It was GORGEOUS! The beds out of this world. So spacious. It’s part of an apartment building. The Strandbad across the street is excellent! Literally across the street. The dinner is great and the facilities too (do see if you can make reservations, was almost turned away on a Friday night at 7:30 because it got fully booked). From here we did the geissenbach falls by ferry, Lauterbrunnen by train and the Aare Gorge each as day trips. Best day was renting paddle board and beach chair at the Strandbad for a day. Could have brought my own snacks but I opted to by a bratwurst and ice cream from the kiosk on the grounds.

It was all excellent! It’s a 10 min. walk from the train station & Coop, 15-20 from main town/other restaurants. The bus only runs by this spot five times a day. The kids did make use of the gas station market to get a frozen pizza. You do need your own toiletries it there was detergent for us to do our laundry! That said, don’t hesitate to book! I would come back to Switzerland just to stay here!
