Apartment mit Balkon

Apartment has absolutely amazing location, it’s clean and spacious. Beautiful view from the balcony. The host was on call with us, we asked to change knives and 1 bed set, it was done next morning. In overall pictures correspond reality. Kitchen has everything needed for your stay.

Room with 3 beds was too small, but it’s ok if you consider it only for sleeping. Some improvements recommendations I would give to the host are: 1. To improve communication on arrival and how to get into apartment (we had to message and then to call because it wasn’t provided beforehand) 2. To create a FAQ instructions paper in the apartment about where to leave trash, how and where to park and pay for the car, any useful information about area or apartment. It will help to reduce the number of questions 🙂.

Die Schlüsselübergabe und Abreise verlief absolut problemlos. Die Lage bzgl. Nähe zu: Supermärkten, regionalen Läden, See mit Bademöglichkeit und Bahnhof ist ausgezeichnet (hier benötigt man kein Auto). Die Wohnung war sauber und aufgeräumt. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und immer sofort zu erreichen oder meldet sich sehr schnell zurück. Die aufgeführten kritischen Anmerkungen sollte man wissen, haben bei uns aber nicht dazu geführt, dass wir uns unwohl gefühlt haben. Wir konnten unseren Urlaub in der Wohnung also trotzdem genießen!!!!

Der Balkon ist so klein, dass 4 Personen dort nicht sitzen und essen können (bei bestem Wetter mussten wir also drin essen). Zudem wird es bei hohen Temperaturen sehr warm, da die Wohnung unter dem Dach liegt.Die tolle Lage wird etwas gemindert, da die Wohnung und der Balkon direkt an der Hauptdurchgangsstraße liegt, somit ist es wirklich laut! Die Ausstattung ist zweckmäßig mit kleinen Einschränkungen: Für 4 Personen gibt es bei einer Woche pro Person je 1 Hand- und 1 Badetuch und fürs Geschirr insgesamt 2 Trockentücher (es gibt aber eine Waschmaschine), Geschirr und Besteck ist knapp bemessen, der Wasserhahn in der Küche liefert kein warmes Wasser, es fehlt ein Spülstopfen, es gibt nur wenige Mülltüten, die scharfen Schneidermesser sind defekt. Die Parkplatzsituation kann zu Problemen führen: In unmittelbarer Nähe stehen 3 gebührenpflichtige Parkplätze zu Verfügung. Dort kann man ein 24h Ticket kaufen (8 CHF - also total ok), aber: man bekommt nur sehr schwer einen Parkplatz und muss mitunter länger warten, bis jemand weg fährt.

The apartment was exactly what we needed - fantastic location, roomy and clean. It was great spending 5 days there and hop to the lake by foot for an evening awim. Highly recommended!

Owner was not available when we arrived and it was unclear how to get to the apartment and open the door. We had to stay in the car for some time before the owner sent the code and entry details.

We definitely like the location, it's just accross Lake Brienz and it is near a train station and a coop store which is cery convenient if you need to get a quick snack before and after a train ride. Sony - (I am not sure if I spelled his name correctly) he is the owner of the place was very accommodating, welcoming and nice. You will really feel at home. We came in summer during a heat wave and he provided us with air-conditioning so that is heaven sent.

The dishwasher sometimes clogs and builds up water at the bottom so it smells, so we eneded just hand washing our dishes which is not a big deal at all.
