Alpine Escape

A little home away from home. Everything you need for a couple of nights. Beautiful view, lovely comfy and spacious sofa.

The vanity was teeny tiny… nowhere to put anything but a toothbrush. A shelf next to it above the toilet would solve it. A little cover above the entrance would be good in the rain.

We had a wonderful and memorable stay at Alpine Escape. The property is such a cosy little retreat, and the beautiful surroundings made the experience truly special. Waking up to the scenic views of the snowy mountains and spending the evening stargazing under a clear sky were definite highlights of our stay. The space is thoughtfully equipped with cooking facilities, which made it convenient for us to prepare our own meals. We also really appreciated the enclosed shower area, especially in the cold weather, as it helped keep the warmth in and made showering much more comfortable. A few small touches could make the stay even better. Providing shampoo and body wash would be a nice addition for guests. Fortunately, we had brought our own shampoo and body wash, so we were well prepared for our stay. As the weather can get very cold, a larger or stronger heater may also help keep the space warmer. During our stay, the warmer on the right side of the bed wasn’t working, so having both working would definitely add to the comfort. Overall, we really enjoyed our time at Alpine Escape. The peaceful setting, cosy atmosphere, snowy mountain views and incredible night sky made it a beautiful getaway. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature.

Well set up, private in location, hosts gave great instructions on how to locate and has everything we needed for the stay.

Bit of a musty smell when you come in… carpet needs replacing due to damp? Would have liked some outdoor cushions (kept dry inside or in a box) to maximise the use of the outdoor chais in the brief periods it wasn’t raining!
