About this house rental
Completed renovated from top to bottom with all new kitchen, baths, and flooring throughout. No detail missed- we think. 5 bedrooms (2 Queen on the main floor with 3 full on the lower level). Custom baths on both floors, with the main having a waterfall shower. Open design in the gourmet kitchen feeds into the dining room and den. Great flow for entertaining and plenty of seating at the island and oversized table so no one is left out. Just off the kitchen is a covered deck to appreciate the sounds of the stream in backyard and section uncovered to enjoy the mountain sun. Relax and watch the wildlife as you enjoy a beverage. If the night chill kicks in, use one or both of the potbelly stoves to cozy things up, or the fire pit outside. 11 Acres is your playground backing up to thousands of state land for your hiking pleasure. Across the road is Huggins lake for those willing to trek for some great off the path trout fishing. Our home is centered between the giant lake trout of the Pepacton reservoir and the beautiful brookies and rainbows of the world famous Beaverkill river. Choices abound for the fisherman. Large circular drive lets you roll right to the front door and offers parking for quite a few cars. Shop ahead of time and come enjoy! We spent a long holiday weekend at this home and loved every moment. The setting is incredible. We saw wildlife, went fishing, cooled off in the creek on property and watched the sunset and grilled evening night on the back porch. Lots of nearby activities but feels really remote in a good way! Truly relaxing. The house is perfectly stocked for anything you would need and the renovated bathrooms and kitchen are really nice touches. Very nice and responsive property manager, and the kindest neighbor who helped us get set up to fish. Would come back for sure.

A group of fly fishing friends decided that our annual getaway would be to the Catskills this year, and we chose this property for our weekly stay. What a great place to relax! The property was private enough that the wildlife strutted through the backyard as we sat and watched and told our fishing stories. We each had our own bedroom, and the bathrooms were on each floor, fully furnished (like the old saying, "the towels were so plush I could hardly close mys suitcase!) We cooked most of our meals, and the kitchen was equipped with quality utensils, pots, pans, coffee. The kitchen cupboard was well stocked with seasonings and other needs. The next door neighbor introduced himself to us and offered us any assistance. The owner had a caretaker who was very mindful and showed responsiveness if we needed anything. All in all, it was a great stay for us. We look forward to doing this again next year.

Very comfortable country house near premier fishing on Beaverkill and Delaware rivers. Everything as advertised. Next door neighbour very welcoming, allowing me access to his pond. Plus, gave us his venison hot dogs, which we grilled for lunch. What an unexpected treat.
