From the reservation to arrival through our stay to check out, this house met every one of our needs. We checked in with our family of six, ages 6-16, and our golden doodle.
The decor is gorgeous, the main room is spacious and provides beautiful
Natural Lighting, the bathrooms have everything you need from body wash to shampoo and great towels. The kitchen was well stocked with everything our family needed. The bedrooms gave everyone enough space to relax and the extra video games upstairs where special and exciting for the kids.
Upon departure, there was a very strong snow storm that could have made leaving difficult. The home management company provided us graciously with the opportunity to stay and wait out the weather.
The house was close to all the things we needed. We spent a day at Camelback, a day on the slopes at JackFrost and had dinner out two nights at great local restaurants at the Boulderview Tavern and Shenanigans.
I could imagine that this location would be perfect year round especially with the beautiful large deck and the quiet location of the house. Thank you so much for making such a beautiful weekend for our family!

Our extended family ranging in age from 16 months to 70+ and a dog recently stayed at The Hilltop Hideaway. The well appointed home was large enough so that no one felt crowded, yet is cozy and comfortable. The main floor public rooms are flooded with daylight, offering views into the trees and the nature that surrounds. We were greeted daily by the neighborhood deer - the kids loved that aspect.
Our initial concern reviewing the photos was that the dining table was undersized and would not accommodate everyone, however the hosts have a drop down table/ sideboard which may be combined with the dining table and seat a crowd.
The hosts have considered little details throughout, from small step stools for the little ones in each bathroom, fold up tv tray tables and a card table, an assortment of boards games, the 2 electronic video games, a toddler bed, multiple fold up cots, a large pet crate, pet food bowls and pet litter bags, and extra blankets and towels.
We did not utilize the exterior movie screen, but did partake in the outdoor fire pit (with provided firewood and marshmallow roasting sticks) and large, elevated deck. Be sure to bring your s'mores ingredients.
As mentioned in the description, access to the house is down a series of steps then up a few steps to the main entrance, and a few hundred feet from the parking area (parking is not allowed in the driveway close to the house). This could be an issue in inclement weather or for those with mobility issues, but was a nice feature for us, as the cars were not the first thing you see looking out the windows.
All in all, we had a fun-filled, relaxing family weekend!
