it was spacious and comfortable, and well situated for trips to the city and to the coast.

it was a bit cold in some rooms, the heating a bit erratic, also could have ad instructions on usage

Location worked well for us and a quiet location. Main bedroom was very nice. Nice warm showers.

Drive was icy and was dangerous to walk up onto the inclined path. This was also icy. Would have been good if gritted or there was grit to use. Several rooms downstairs had the radiators off with small oil storage heaters as a substitute for the 2 bedrooms downstairs. Had to use the aircon in one of the bedrooms as so cold. Hall and kitchen were very cold. The main room was warm as long as the doors were closed. Kitchen tight on space as an island in the middle makes walking around congested. I think for the number of people would have liked a bigger kitchen. The pots and pans were very tired and could do with replacing. No pan lids. Would have hoped that basic things like a wine opener etc would have been provided. I suspect that the property doesn't get checked that often. The sitting room only has sofa space for 5, rest will need to sit on dining chairs. Has a skybox for TV but no instructions on TV remotes etc to work out how it's connected. The dinning room is very narrow so once you're sat down your there until people move. No welcome pack with instructions on anything in the house. Would have thought some basics could have been proved like a few dishwasher tablets, etc. There were some maintenance issues which we fwded to the agent; doors coming of hinges, difficult to open, stair spindles loose and dangerous, some dining chairs legs needed tightening, oven seal coming away, dishwasher not fixed to cabinet so falls fwd and waste dispenser not wired in so need to connect an extension lead to a plug outside the cabinet. There are a number of notices around the property serveral relating to neighbours. I think if there are children in the party this might be a issue if using the outside.

Large space for gathering in the evenings and around the dining table

Silly little things like no corkscrew and only a single tea towel for drying up. There was no folder of instructions about how things worked or details about waste collection. Some twin bed matresses were coming to the end of their life!

Fantastic house and a fantastic host! I recommend it one hundred percent.

Nice size house with a lot of facilities.

Place needed a good clean. Most of the garden furniture was too old to use. One chair fell apart with someone sitting on it!

the beds were way to hard and the mattress’s are in need of replacing. The kitchen utensils need upgrading! The kitchen knives were blunt!

The size and location of the house, and garden, is great, very private too. Lovely view from the front veranda area, overlooking the river opposite, just missing some chairs there really!!?

There are quite a few stairs up to the front door from the road, wouldn't be advisable for elderly people.

Good location, spacious, clean and comfortable. All the facilities we needed.

The property is in a nice location with the river bank and fields opposite. It was clean and tidy and the hosts were responsive to queries. There is a nice patio and ample garden area. Its about a 35/40 minute walk into town which can be done using an old railway alignment now turned into a cycle track/walkway mostly thought woods and meadows. You can hire city bikes nearby.

For the number of guests the house can accommodate the provision of comfy chairs in the lounge was not great - only 5 - we needed to use dining room chairs.

Great location. Spacious, clean house and would definitely stay again.

I suited our needs perfectly. It was a home from home to spend some quality time with our daughter who's at UEA.

Not much really, the washing machine wasn't brilliant but thats about it.
