An oasis of calm in the centre of town.

Excellent location- right in the centre of town and yet so quiet you wouldn’t know it. I love the layout with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Really comfortable sofa and bed. We’ve been here before and would have booked again if it had been available. Already booked twice more. I think there must have been some updates, as it was even better than we remembered.

The bathroom looks a little tired now in comparison to the rest of the property - the windowsill definitely could do with a lick of paint.

Brilliant. What a Lovely Gem of a find in Redruth.

What a fantastic find. This little Cottage was not only in a prime walking distance from the station but also located in the heart of Redruth. We just needed a place to stay overnight as I was collecting my Fathers car as he had decided to surrender his license due to his age. Exceeded all expectations. Wanted for nothing. We purchased some Coffee and milk before arriving. Even that was supplied. Silly Me lol. Would definatley recommend. 100 Stars

Self-catering, no breakfast. Well equipped kitchen. Quite flat, public parking very near. Location in the heart of Redruth.

We did not like the 2 old style taps at the bathroom sink and the fact that there are steep stairs between kitchen-living room and bedroom-bathroom.

We stay at the Cottage regularly, but were delighted to see the fantastic new king size bed and bedside cabinets this time! The bed was so much more comfortable and really added a lovely element to our stay. As always, everything was spotless so many thanks to Katie!

A remarkable little find.

Very pleasant accommodation for two with a very good range of fixtures and equipment which worked. Very nice decorative touches which made the place appear cared for. The outside walled garden was a really welcome surprise. Minutes from the train station by foot so easy journey to St Ives for the day.

Excellent: So close to Buttermarket and the train station lovely two level apartment.

Plenty of space having two levels of living. Great for a couple. It’s nice to sit on a couch at the end of a day in a proper living space. Great private courtyard. Bath is also good. Great location to the Buttermarket for excellent food options. Host provided great details how to get to the property.

Need personalised instructions to work the washer/dryer not the manual. Found it tricky. The bedroom is large enough for a queen bed not a double.

I adored my stay in this little cottage! It was the perfect safe haven for me and I loved how close it was to the station and the shops. Redruth is small but great for accessing other parts of Cornwall.

The bed was creaky, which did tend to wake me up whenever I flopped around in my sleep. But it was a very minor issue.

Clean and comfortable stay in the heart of Redruth.

We've stayed at The Cottage many times now and always have a great experience. The facilities are brilliant and kept to a high standard. You couldn't ask for a cleaner place to stay. The Cottage is on the Redruth high street so you only have everything you need on your door step. The owner always leaves milk in the fridge so even if you arrive later in the day, you can still have a cup of tea and feel at home. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the area.

Beautiful location, right in the middle of town with all amenities close by, extremely clean. Was provided with everything needed, like washing up liquid, towels, blanket. Very inviting and warm as soon as we walked though the door. Fantastic response to communication with the owner.

Would defo stay again

Almost immaculately clean everywhere. Water pressure in shower. That it had a bath. Heating. Carpeting. Outside spacious. Close to transport links, shops etc. Safe. Board games - played Cornish Monopoly. Hope owners choose to keep on top of small DIY jobs to keep the place nice.

No pizza cutter. Sofa looks nice but uncomfortable. Cooker hood low - husband banged his head on it several times.

Better than expectations

The location was ideal if you want the shops, pubs and takeaways. The house was warm when we entered and it was very inviting. For the two of us it was just great. Car parking is really only available in the car park at the back of the house - car parking is free from 4pm till 9am. Because we had to be out at 10am my husband just went down at 9am to pay just 80p for the extra hour till we had to be gone. The courtyard garden was a bonus and very private. The kitchen seemed to have everything we needed for an overnight stay. Can highly recommend and should we need to return to Redruth and need a property - we would stay here again.

The settee wasn't that comfortable for a couple of hours tv viewing, couldn't 'relax'. It's okay for perching on.

Excellent little cosy retreat.

The bed was very comfortable, loved the en suite bathroom...shower was to die for. Very clean throughout. Nice to have fully working washing machine, oven, hob, microwave and fridge. Great also to have the availability to log into apps that you have at home on the TV. I suspect during the summer the private garden would look stunning, but on rainy days it didn't get potential use. I was very happy to find an ironing board and iron as a shirt I wanted to wear ended up being creased beyond recognition in the luggage. Did the job well. Overall a fantastic stay...Air freshners provided to mask the damp smell.

It had been raining a lot before but there was a smell of damp, when we first entered. Not sure why. Maybe someone before had washed clothes and left them on the horse to dry. No blind in the bathroom window, but others are saying people from the car park can see them. Total rubbish this window faces a blank outer building wall opposite the road. Barring a ladder no-one will see you.
