The property is in a great location and it had everything we needed. It was great for our dogs as they were safe and secure in the garden. It was very clean and cosy.

Quiey location with good views of countryside. Self contained unit with all the equipment you need when staying away for a few days or a week or so. Good base for local attractions etc

This place is becoming a regular haunt of mine. I visit this part of Cornwall frequently to see my family. I am so glad I found Citrus Chalet. So convenient to my various relatives and friends. It is a perfect size, with a lovely garden and views across the farmlands to Portreath and St Agnes beacon. The neighbours are friendly and their dogs are adorable.
I find the home clean, tidy, and well equipped. Double bed is comfy and the bedding is really really lovely. I'd love to know what it is.
Heating is generous and warm. Great table for dining and the kitchen is small but perfect for a few night's cooking. Communication is great.
I enjoy that it is on a campsite. There's a community vibe.
And Cathy's wonderful art on the walls is a really personal touch.
Because I was visiting by myself, I had my uncle round one evening for dinner and it was so lovely to be able to host in a clean, welcoming environment.
Honestly, I could happily live here year round!
I don't want to risk not being able to book again by singing their praises too much! I already got there too late to lock in my Christmas accommodation for hosting Christmas. :'(

I can only scrape around for negative things to say for the sake of a balanced review. I do agree with one reviewer's suggestion that a small table for coffee by the sofas would be great. There's a triangular space where the two sofas join which would be great for a high and slim round table. I used my own upturned cardboard box in the floor space in front of the sofa for my drinks!
I wish the shower room window would close. I had a few spiders. The handle seems lower than the frame so the window cannot fit flush. Hopefully the amazing Cathy will be able to find a way to resolve this as we go into winter.
Some guests may not adore having to strip their beds. I have a chronic illness which means stripping beds is hard work, but I managed fine on this occasion. I'm sure most people would not mind, especially given the exceptional value of the place. I certainly didn't.
