Good location, easy walking distance to the waterfront as well as the city centre. Lovely restaurant and bar offering a selection of food and drinks.

Housekeeping was a bit 'hit and miss' not replacing items once they were taken, such as face cloths or towels. The WhatsApp contact system didn't work. There were problems with milk cartons issued in the room, we were told to message on the WhatsApp and they'd bring a jug of milk but then never saw the messages - not a big issue though. No live music as stated on the website, not sure if that is only in peak season but this should be stated.

Good location, friendly staff and good food

On our first night, we found a large cockroach right outside our door. We also had to change rooms because the first one only had a fake window facing the corridor, where the lights were on constantly, while the second room did not have proper curtains. The second room change went smoothly, but when we made the first switch, the staff failed to mention that we would have to pay an additional fee because the room we chose was considered a higher category than the previous one. Had we been informed in advance, we would have chosen a different room. Moreover, the reason for this supposed “upgrade” was never clearly explained, and any additional charge should have been communicated before the room change. The rooms also do not have closets, which makes it difficult to properly store clothes during a stay. In addition, we had to request basic amenities such as towels and a hairdryer, rather than having them provided in the room from the beginning. Overall, there were several avoidable issues that made the stay less comfortable than expected, particularly given the lack of clear communication from the staff.
