Good choice

Location is good, walking distance to Waterfront restaurants. Room was very clean, designed in black and white colors. Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly. We were also glad that for extra fee we got early check in.

Design of the bathroom could be improved. The shower water would splash outside on the floor. Also the sink would be more convenient to use with one rather than 2 spouts.

The hotel had a good location and offered fair value for the price.

The hotel was centrally located, and there were many places to explore on foot.

There was a leak under the sink in the room. Additionally, the air conditioner was dripping water and soaking the floor. The toilet did not have a bidet spray, and the room had poor or no ventilation.

Our towls was full of holes - very old House keeping should not have missed this - very obvious Someone used the kettle to make pasta in it- we had to clean it Our guests room - the bedding was dirty with stains on it

Clean stay in central location. Value for money. A few small things in room needing attention.

Room did not have a window, felt like inside cabin of a cruise ship. Extractor fan did not work in bathroom, loose toilet seat and bed base damaged on the sides. Mostly small things that can be fixed to make the experience better.

An amazing stay, would definitely recommend.

Location within easy access to all central amenities. Breakfast was fresh and filling. Comfortable bed with fresh linen. I slept so peacefully and woke up very well rested and refreshed. Staff were very friendly, professional, and helpful.

Rooms are too small. There was no possibility of keeping clothes well. No cupboard was available. Communication was only through WhatsApp. Toilet and Bathroom were well below expectation in terms of size and amenities. No minibar service. Room too small

Had a lovely stay. its a walking distance to the waterfront. There is a coffee shop just opposite the hotel. The breakfast is the best, there is variety each day. You dont eat what you had the previous day.

It is highly recommended for travellers in a short stay .

I liked the good location close to waterfront restaurants and shopping ,Nelson mandela gateway to robben island ,Gold restaurant for the different african food and show...it is the safest area in cap town .it is also easy to walk to CBD and to the night life in long street.... The rooms are big and clean,the breakfast is good and the staff is friendly.

I didn t like that there is no gym or swimming pool in the hotel ....

A convenient place for sight seeing in Capetown.

Room was cleaned every day by the staff. Counter staff and kitchen staff were friendly and approachable.

I dont quite like the old wooden planks used in the building esp in the shower room although I understand is for sustainability. The wood is abit dirty and old looking, too rough. I also dont like the sink in the living room instead of toulet. The hotel made up these shortcoming with the soft side of service.

Excellent - would stay again

Very stylish and comfortable hotel. Friendly front desk, nice breakfast and good location with an easy walk along the canal to the waterfront area. Initially I thought having the sink in the room would be odd but actually it’s far more convenient for getting ready in the mornings!

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

The room was decent, though a small sofa or a couple of chairs would have made it more comfortable, especially when enjoying a cup of coffee or tea instead of having to sit on the bed. The location was excellent - perfectly situated. Breakfast was truly enjoyable. I especially enjoyed the meal at dinner.

The hotel is in a prime location. The hotel is different in decor and ambiance - a historic location with fun decor. The restaurant is quality food at affordable pricing considering the location.

Some aspects of the hotel need to be maintained. The hotel is well used and wear and tear is starting to show.

Enjoyable stay in Capetown . Would recommend Onomo for a visit.

Close to harbour front, was not noisy. The rooms were quite spacious. Staff very friendly and breakfast substantial.

We did not like the bathroom construction. The walls were made of opaque glass which was still very see through. Ok if you are a couple, but not the best if you are sharing with a friend.

Lovely hotel, but not for the sound-sensitive traveller.

The staff was brilliant! (Special shout-out to the manager, Mymoena.) After a very unpleasant experience they went out their way to make sure that our stay at ONOMO was still memorable. The breakfast was fantastic and delicious.

The rooms are not soundproof. If one is sound-sensitive, this hotel is not for you. There is no direct line (telephone) to reception from the rooms. Only Whats App or in person. No parking at or close to the hotel. Only street parking (if available) or 2 car parks approx 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Car park/s for own (extra) expense.

it as not waow but a day or two stay over is ok but defintely not for long stay

The staff was more than helpful.Especially Simankele...so competent!the room i didnt like and i had to pay more to upgrade to another room with 2 double beds we needed only .as there was a water leakage and the. lift was out of service during our whole stay! .the room lacks some small things like slippers.

Great location, great food at the restaurant especially the nachos

The restaurant staff were amazing especially on Friday and Saturday the nachos are also something special

I enjoyed my stay and the friendliness of the staff. They were very helpful and proffesional.

Amazing location in close proximity to both the V&A Waterfront and the Cape Town International Convention Centre. The room was nice and big. I am not big on breakfast but it was good the few times I went with a good mix of fruits, cold meats and warm options.

There was no wardrobe in the room, just hangers for the clothes but its not a deal breaker.
