Everything was fantastic, was perfect and quiet location for us to get away and very cosy when the weather closes in with the fire a light 👌, any further comments would be constructive and in no way takes away the beauty of this place, thank you Kevin & Michaela ❤️ (fresh eggs from the resident chickens and bread with the orange juice and butter and coffee/tea/sugar available) is the grandest gesture, we can’t say thank you enough.

Everything was provided for, just a small nest table might help in the lounge area for putting drinks on when sitting on couch but this never really bothered us while we stayed,

Fantastic week at the Summerhouse.

Everything!! The summer house was a fantastic base for us for tripping out for walks in other places in the lakes and around Glassonby. It's is spotlessly clean and comfortable just like a home from home. It has a nice warm wood burning stove and electric radiator if needed, lovely well equipped kitchen and a nice spacious bathroom with walk in shower. It has great outdoor seating with a fantastic view, hens wander about every day and a lovely eating apple tree that Kevin said we could help ourselves to. Kevin and Michaela left us a nice welcome package of eggs, bread, butter and orange juice for when we arrived which was a lovely gesture. We will be back to stay again.

Not a down side but there are a few steps and a short walk up to the Summerhouse.

Everything! The place is spotless, beautifully presented, and in such a peaceful location. It’s our second time staying and it’s just as lovely as we remembered. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes all the difference. Perfect base for exploring the area!

Very comfortable..The hosts were so helpful and welcoming. The welcome provisions were very generous..including fresh eggs from the gardens chickens (which were delicious ) The view was a real bonus.

Absolutely blissful, relaxing and tranquil.

It's a self catering facility, so you have all the freedom of doing things at your own pace and style. It was my birthday and there was a birthday card and a bottle of prosecco in the chalet on our arrival along with milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, loaf of bread, butter and everything else that you needed. Friendly hosts, couldn't do enough for you. Highly recommended on our departure we had asked for some lovely farm eggs which they gave to us no charge.! A little piece of heaven in this lovely little village of Glassonby.

Delightfully serene stay

Lovely, friendly greeting from Michaela and Kevin, who were so friendly. Their chickens fresh eggs were in the kitchen with juice, bread and bottled water. Everything was pleasant, our hosts, the accommodation, the serenity. I highly recommend this lovely haven ❤️

Fantastic stay in a quiet haven

Very tasteful unit. People are very welcoming but not intrusive. Nice extra of some eggs,bread,juice. Most pleasant and comfortable stay of our holiday so far. It is very quiet and peaceful. Close to Lakes and Yorkshire Dale's which we did from this base. Can get any supplies in Penrith.

Not a criticism just a tip to take note of the message on directions or you will not get it on navigation.

Absolutely stunning accommodation. Beautifully thought out and very welcoming. Cosy on an evening, amazing views and very comfortable. Kevin & Michaela are so friendly and offer advice and assistance as well as making you feel right at home! Our welcome pack was so lovely and personalised for our Easter break. Thank you again for that. A perfect base to explore the lakes and bag more wainwrights and locally there are shorter walks to little villages and the river Eden.

A lovely break away in a beautiful part of the Lake District

Property is in a beautiful peaceful location with many local walks. The hosts are lovely people. The summerhouse was very comfortable with views of the surrounding countryside and met all our needs. Penrith and Keswick only a short distance away. A most enjoyable stay and we will be returning.

What a lovely place perfect for a quite getaway. Michaela and Kevin were perfect hosts nice welcome to the property with plenty of local information and a few basic items like bread butter orange juice and eggs from their own chickens. We will be booking back here again

A stunning, comfortable chalet with everything you need. All clean, modern and beautifully decorated with lovely welcome gifts. The hosts Michaela and Kevin are so friendly and accommodating. I would say this is one of the best places we have stayed in In a lovely peaceful location. No car needed once arrived, so many walks around the area.We would not hesitate to recommend this place to stay. It is our pleasure to give great feedback,. Thank you both for a truly relaxing few days in your lovely chalet.

A fantastic experience in a beautiful part of the UK.

A lot of effort has gone into making this accommodation as good as it can possibly be. The layout of the room is excellent. There is a great wood burner which we enjoyed using during our winter stay! The WIFI was good and we enjoyed watching the TV from the nice seating provided. The cooking facilities are brilliant! We did not have any Ketchup and after calling the hosts they immediately brought us a bottle! The hosts are super friendly and very accommodating.

I did make one recommendation to the hosts and this was to maybe have a look at the radiator nearest the door as it was making a constant clicking noise through the night. I am sure they will have sorted that because they were so positive and open to taking this on board. The only other thing I personally struggled with a little was the hieght of the bar stools. If you are like me and very challenged by weight then this probably wont be ideal for eating. I sat on the couch and utilised a table that was placed for effect. So no problem!

Very nice hosts, very nice area we truly recommend this location.

We cooked our own breakfast. All necessities were available. The location is fabulous, nice view, very nice hosts. We have been in Cumbria before and love the area.

Everything was far more or better than we expected. We attended a golf tournament and as such, we just aim for a place to sleep and shower. AS stated before: excellent bed and sanitary. The only thing which could be improved in our opinion was the WiFi. This was a bit unstable but we took it as it is completely free. We wouldn't mind paying for it if it would be better.

Hosts met us upon arrival. They were both so friendly & inviting, they'd left us some items to eat / drink during our stay too. The whole stay was amazing from start to finish. The facilities were spotless and everything was perfect, just as in the pictures. I can't recommend this accommodation enough & if we're ever in the area again we'll be booking to stay!

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The view from our venue was absloutley stunning and the facilities were clean and well kept. The bed was extremely comfortable.

don't think its much the host can do about it, but flies were a bit of nuisance, other than that I personal found the showers droplets to be a little sharp.

Very relaxing location with plenty of privacy and super hosts and very well appointed summerhouse.

Kevin and Michela are super hosts and the summerhouse is a perfect place for a short break. No real downsides to this place and we are likely to return in the future.

We can't really pinpoint anything although personally, I felt the pillows could have been a bit firmer but that is just my preference. Everything else is spot on.
