Tara Riverside

The best place in montenegro. Marko and the family are very friendly. We had a great time in this lovely place. I recommend this place with all my heart.

Montenegran love, warmth and kindness from Marko and his beautiful wife - they are the parents of Danilo and his wife, the hosts and the first of the Tara Riverside team we met ! Marko's welcome gesture was fresh tomatoes from his garden, a bowl of the sweetest grapes from the Tara vines and some lovely deep purple plums .. oh goodness ! Once we were settled Marko offered us beer and juice which we enjoyed by the riverside .. This is a little gem ... 4 neat wooden houses in a row overlooking the river .. The interior clean and neat with a little kitchen section in one corner and a welcome book guiding guests to all the basics around town. On the verandah of each unit there are cozy seating allowing visitors to sit and watch the world go by .. Close to the units there are 4 bright blue deck chairs where sights and sounds go by and peace reigns. The central, shared kitchen, dining room and lounge is cosy and perfect for getting together and sharing travel tips and stories with fellow guests. This is a piece of heaven where the 4 host are angels embracing weary travelers with loving kindness ... thank you to the Tara Riverside team ... an exceptional Montenegran family .. you are true ambassadors of this beautiful and exceptional country ! Loved the place. It’s a very quiet very natural housing by the river with a very welcoming staff/family. Absolutely recommend it for resting during your travel by the area. It’s also close to a national park where you can spend a day in the forest by the lake.

Great location, right next to the river. Room was spacious and very clean. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful.
