Katun Lanista-Kolibe Bogavac

The place was amazing- the location on the top of the mountain was breathtaking! The sunset was unbelievable. The farm animals were all around. Jovanna and her mother were kind and inviting. We had dinner and breakfast the homemade food was delicious. The weather was a bit chilly but we were warm and snuggly in our cabin.

Nothing! It exceeded our expectations.

Everything about our stay was amazing. Jovana messaged us before hand and sent us directions to the cabin. The drive up to the cabin was fun (you don't need a 4x4 although you may question yourself at times 😊) but from the moment we arrived Jovana and her mum were amazing hosts. It was colder than usual when we stayed in September, but Jovana went above and beyond and sourced heaters for every cabin and made sure we had enough extra blankets. Although we didn't use all the extra blankets it was nice they thought about this . The food Jovana's mum cooks is amazing. Everything they make is from what they have grown on their land, including their jams and juice. Jovana's mum was kind enough to also let me help - she treated us just like her own family. We ended up staying an extra day because the rain settled in and had the most relaxing time reading by the fireplace. We also got to meet the extended family who were ever so welcoming. I only wish I could have spoken the local language to speak to Jovana's mum and extended family more, but we we managed with broken English and hand gestures. Our stay in the mountains for some rest and relaxation at Katun Lanista was beyond exceptional. Wish we our holidays were longer so we could have stayed more days.

Nothing - this was the perfect stay we needed in the mountains!

Jovana is the perfect host. She took care of us as being our own mother. The food is very good, home made and plenty. We can highly recommend this place!

Both breakfast and dinner featured local ingredients from their own sources. Absolutely amazing.
