Fantastic property for spending some time at the sea. A short stroll to the beach, the lighthouse, or some nice local restaurants incl the fantastic A La Grecque. Property was comfortable and had everything we needed. Would have liked a coffee machine but no major issue as we generally bring a moka pot with us. The front of the property doesn't have a fence so if bringing a dog with selective hearing (like mine) you may need to tie them up when sat on the decking for your morning coffee. No internet connection but good mobile coverage and nice to disconnect anyway. Overall had a very enjoyable stay and would def come again

Our family has stayed here a couple of times now. This is a very comfortable well set up house with a lovely fenced yard for our dog. The house is in a great location, close to the beach, Lighthouse and lots of walking paths nearby. Thanks Dee!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It is in such an incredible location. The house was great! It had everything we needed. We had such a relaxing few nights away just exploring the area, our two year old loved the seeing the Rabbits in the front yard. We would definitely like to come back sometime in the future.

Perfect holiday home that’s large enough to take the whole family or quiet enough for a couples getaway. Food and walking trails all within walking distance. We were allowed to take a little Cavoodle with us which made our holiday that much more amazing. Would highly recommend staying here as Aireys inlet is a beautiful town and worth checking out.

We had a lovely time. The property is very beautiful and welcoming. It was nice and clean just one towel was dirty and I only saw it after using it so that felt disappointing but other then that one thing, we had a lovely time. I would be coming back! The communication with the owner is easy and the location is perfect. It is a place that was designed to give a good feeling and that is truly felt.

We enjoyed a 4 night stay at By The Sea before Christmas. Dee was friendly and great to deal with, provided all the info we needed prior to our arrival. The house was fabulous for our family (2 adults, 2 kids) It was clean and tidy with everything we needed, even an extra TV in the kids bedroom! The house is centrally located - a playground at the end of the street, we could walk to the beach, the pub, up to the lighthouse and to other cafes and restaurants. We would definitely stay at the property again.

Only an hour and a half from Melb, this hideaway only minutes from the beach and lighthouse is the perfect weekend getaway. Big fireplace, heaters in all the rooms, and a lovely deck with parrots in all the trees and a big lawn for the kids to play on. Relaxing, clean, simple and a joy. We’ll be back!

Loved the location with great walks to lighthouse and around the clifftop. House had everything we needed. Weather was a little cool but we were cosy inside. Airey's inlet is a lovely spot with beautiful drives to Torquay and Lorne. We would have stayed longer had the house been available.

My wife and I and our dog had a great stay at By the Sea cottage. The cottage is very comfortable and clean and it was nice and cosy with the fire on. Great location, just a short stroll to the beach. The dog enjoyed the secure back yard. Dee was great in allowing us an early check in and later check out. The cottage has two great outside areas which are under cover and a very good BBQ. Great for a family group. Cottage accommodates 7. We will definitely return one day. Thoroughly recommend to anyone considering going to Aireys Inlet.

What a Location!

Wow so close to the beach, exactly what I needed for my ageing but beach loving dog with athritis. Really close to shops also and just so peaceful. I’m in love with the sounds of the sea and the birds here and sitting on that deck was magic. Everything you need from a kitchen and bathroom and Dee was such an amazing accomodating host. Helped me with whatever I needed , a delightful person. Really important to me was a flat property. As so many on Great Ocean Road are on hills or have stairs. So if you your kids or dogs have mobility issues this property is perfect. Loved the beanbag outside, the beautiful outdoor area and the artistry of the beach design. Thanks Dee xx
