Facilities of the property were really great! The apartment was fully equipped, very organized and clean. Very near to Santa Elena.
The road was not very good, I went in a sedan and we could it make it but it will be important to know that are some parts that are under construction so it just a matter to be very careful.

The unit is small but it is totally self sufficient (kitchenette, nice bathroom) and it is very clean. Perfect for a couple for a short stay in Monteverde.
The property is on the edge of town so it is better to rent it if you have a car, but the view of the lake and the fields are really nice.

Location was good, just behind an hostel so it was easy to find but also private enough. Close enough to walk to main areas of town. Usable kitchen with enough dinnerware and cutley for family of 5 (but I did not try to cook any meals). Has small appliances like microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Great Wifi. Spacious (3 bedrooms!). Host very responsive, quick to answer any questions.
The front door really did not offer much security or privacy (large panes of glass, looks like door/lock could be kicked in easily). Hot water did not work initially (but was rectified quickly by host by offering the use of the bathroom of the vacant unit next door, and then fixed by the next day). There is a TV, but only use for casting with computers.
