La excelente atención, el trato amable y amistoso de doña Machita y don Víctor, los dueños, fue lo que más me gustó y me hizo sentirme muy a gusto, como en casa. El desayuno exquisito, preparado con mucho amor.
No hubo nada que no me gustara.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par nos hôtes et le petit déjeuner était bien préparé.
Hébergement familial où la "Duena" gère parfaitement sa pension.
Si vous souhaitez rencontrer des personnes agréables, qui aiment partager leur vie, où l'on se sent bien, je vous recommande cet hébergement non loin des parcs.

Das Frühstück wurde von Eigentümer lecker vorbereitet, das Zimmer für unsere 4 Köpfige Familie war groß, die Kinder fühlten sich wie zu Hause.
Die Beratung zu den Touren war ehrlich und sehr hilfreich, die Buchung und Organisation war super

- superb and friendly staff, they are a family and they welcome you at their home
- excellent traditional breakfast from Costa Rica (rice with beans, fried banana, bread, scrambled eggs, fruit, coffee)
- free parking onsite
- if you want to experience a real stay like the locals hosted by a family look no further , if you expect to have a hotel style accommodation then go somewhere else, this is not your typical hotel with reception and whatnot
- insulation of rooms is not the best, but this is something you know beforehand so it should not really be a negative point, I mention it for awareness for others. This means that some bugs might enter into the room, but you are staying in the middle of nature after all
- location wise, there is a supermarket within walking distance but no restaurant. So you will need to either walk 20min or drive for 5
- roads to get to Monteverde are simply crazy, but that's not their fault :)
