Cabinas Vista Al Golffo

The reception was very welcoming (thank you Ro). The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety between days. The view from the common area was nice.

The sound insulation in the rooms was not good and I woke up a couple of times during the night due to some sounds from outside

We loved our stay at Cabinas Vista Al Golfo! The staff were incredible, so kind and helpful - special thanks to Ro who helped us with transport to our various tours in the area and was generally a lovely guy. The room was massive and we had an incredible view of the valley, everything was clean and the beds were comfy. Bathroom was also huge! The view from the common areas / dining area is great too. To note: Monteverde is pretty windy and this hotel is on a hill, so you might hear the wind a little at night.

The receptionist tried to sell me too many attractions that are very expansive and is not about the hotel. They say that you have to book a tour to visit but there is a shuttle discover costa rica for 9 dollars that takes you to the park. So too much pressure to book a tour. 2nd thing if you take the bedroom with shared bathroom anyone can use it and I got an infection on the second day and didn t sleep the whole night. So you have to keep a toilet for the single bed room and other people have to use another one it s not hygenic to share.
