About this resort
Note for 2026: Reservations can only be made within 60 days of arrival. There is a 7 night minimum stay (Sunday to Sunday or Saturday to Saturday). We do not have a specific suite, but it is on The Ridge.
The best thing about Playa Grande is its location. The marina and a market are right at the entrance to the resort. One of my favorite things to do is walk around the marina and watch the fishing boats come in while having a bite to eat at one of the open air restaurants. For the adults, the night life is right around the corner from the marina. But what's great about the resort is that you can enjoy yourself right there, relaxing by the pool, walking on the beach, playing mini-golf, visiting the spa, or participating in the resorts many fun activities. If you are planning on doing some of your own cooking, there is a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen, living area, and dining room open up to the terrace, which overlooks the marina or the Pacific Ocean, giving it an expansive feeling.

We rented from this owner for two separate properties (one for 1 night & the other for our 7 day stay). When we arrived for check-in, they “were full” but compensated by upgrading us to a presidential suite at Grand Sol Mar for 1 night. It made up for the inconvenience of checking in/out of two properties. Our 7 day stay was ocean front & we thoroughly enjoyed it! You must do the beach fiesta(s)- they are so fun. The property owner (Terry) was extremely communicative!

We have stayed many places in Cabo and Playa Grande checks so many boxes. The staff is inviting and very helpful! From the activities to the food and drinks certainly no complaints!! Location is key. A short walk to the Marina and the dining, shopping g and party scene is right there
Will definitely be back!
