The property was okay overall. The location and value for money were both acceptable, and all the basic amenities were provided, which was important to me. It’s within walking distance of the main area, so you don’t need a car or taxi to get to nearby places everything is accessible on foot.

Regarding the location and overall standard, when traveling to different countries, star ratings aren’t directly comparable, since every country has different standards. I can’t judge this by the standard of world class hotels; it’s a different kind of place. By local standards here, it’s okay. That said, there were two issues: 1. No lift/elevator. The rooms are on the second floor, and you have to use the stairs. This could be a real problem for older guests or anyone who relies on a lift. 2. Poor corridor lighting. The corridor lights were often off, which felt unsafe or inconvenient.

The location was perfect, would definitely choose this apartment again when visiting again.

The apartment is located near the city center. You have a lot of coffee shops, stores and restaurants near by. The apartment was a little hard to locate at first because the street numbers are kind of weird. Someone gave me the keys to the apartment when I arrived (but not the host). The host was very kind (as I got lost in the city when I get there from the airport) and the communication was good.

The apartment was filthy. It smelled like cigarette even tough you were not able to smoke. The sheets and towels were old and heavily used. The shower had a moldy smell. There was a lot of noise coming from the street and the neighbors (the walls were a little thin I guess). I know the price was cheap, but I rather pay a little bit more and have decent towels, sheets and an cleaner apartment.
