Location was perfect, only steps from the historical center, and some 100 meters from the cheap and convenient garage, which is important in the town like Guimaraes. Room was small, but we didn't spend too much time in it. And the owner was wonderful, very helpful with instructions, and we had really nice and friendly conversation during breakfast, which was also very good.

We liked the location, very close to center of town, restaurants, sights, etc. Parking lot very close and very low cost. The owner, Miguel came right over to check us in, he was most gracious and accommodating. Told us to help ourselves to coffee, tea, water, whatever was in the dining area. He spent a lot of time with us telling us where to go and also made reservations for us at a local restaurant where we had an exceptional meal. Lovely town, enjoyed our stroll through park to center. Miguel was there in the morning to serve our breakfast, table settings were lovely and he bend over backwards to serve us.
The room was spacious and very well decorated, coffee and tv with English channels in room. Well-lit room and bathroom with walk in shower, clean, comfy beds. Lovely place!
Would definitely recommend and go back.
No elevator, stairs but not a long or difficult. We planned ahead; we take an extra canvas bag to only take out what we need for the night and next day. We know a lot of hotels do not have elevators, especially in older buildings, so we leave our bags in the trunk and take a smaller bag. The town was completely safe.

We had a great stay at the hotel, it’s very central to Guimaraes meaning you can walk to any place of interest, shops, restaurants and cafes etc with ease. We had a great sleep, the room had everything we needed and was very clean. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast was very good and plentiful and regularly topped up. Our stay was very enjoyable and great value for money. Many thanks to all of the team.
