Wonderful and restful autumn break.

Spacious, warm and cosy. Everything needed was there and more. All bedrooms have en-suites which is handy. Good location for dog walks and short drives to explore the area.

Very comfortable accommodation in beautiful setting

The host provided bread, eggs, butter and milk which was a very nice touch. And we were able to store our bikes in the garage, and even offered to charge our car using their EV charger, which was very convenient.

This barn conversion is great; it is a huge open space with bags of room. Once well-heated, it is snug. The location is rural and has great views of the area. The games room is massive and very well equipped. Parking is plentiful.

The main room took a day or so to get warm, but then stayed very comfortable and snug. The kitchen and bathroom were difficult to warm up and created a draught to the main room. It would help to insulate this door for winter bookings. There was a limited supply of hot water, so we learned to take quick showers.

We liked everything about the entire experience. The accommodation and location were absolutely amazing. The hosts/owners were lovely and could not do enough for us. We would certainly return. Local taxi driver was friendly and accommodating too.

Perfect accommodation, lovely owners.

Booked for 3 nights, but got snowed in so had to stay an extra night - we couldn't have been happier! 4 friends, we each had a spacious bedroom with on suite facilities. Tastefully decorated and plenty of radiators (a must with temperatures falling to minus 6) Big lounge with 3 huge comfy sofas and the biggest log basket I've ever seen, full to the brim with a generous supply of dry logs. Nice to come back to after a walk in the snow. The kitchen was new and had everything we needed and more in terms of pans, crockery, utensils etc. There was a fresh home baked loaf waiting for us on arrival and then another appeared, along with more logs and coal when we got stuck. The lovely owners, Terri and Graham went above and beyond to help us get the last of our 3 cars out of the snow and up the farm track to the main road. A big thank you from all of us. All this and beautiful scenery too. Fabulous walking routes all around. Highly recommended.

Very clean and spacious,quiet location,perfect for long walks and relaxing evenings.unbelievable outside garden & patio area, heaven. Terri was so nice and mindful of any wants and comforts. If your visiting the Yorkshire Dales, you find a better property or location.

Everything. Very snug, warm and comfy. Great facilities in kitchen and bathroom. Lounge area comfy and warm. Bed very comfortable and warm. Nice to look out windows and see the views. Great walks nearby down to the river and night star gazing was great.

Nothing. Everything was perfect. Even the rain meant we could chill in front of the log burner.

Such a lovely place and such attention to detail with chess set, brochures of local places, shower gel and even a welcoming home baked loaf of bread. Amazing countryside location. A wonderful escape!

Wi Fi was poor. Also some windows didn't have curtains or blinds and consequently let in the early morning sun / light in the sleeping quarters.
