New Lindos Studio 45 renovated

Perfect location! High up, close to the Lindos Akropolis, away from the often tourist-filled village center. Still, you only needed 5-10 minutes to walk anywhere, to the beach or the supermarket. It was quiet, relaxed and not many people around (end of April), except for a few hours during the day when donkeys rode by with tourists on their way to the Akropolis. Lovely private terrace and entrance. The view over Lindos and the beach was beautiful. The studio was reasonably sized for 2 people, with a small kitchen and a water kettle – simple, but with everything you needed. I also appreciated that it had a few cabinets for storage and a safe for storing valuables. Mid-week the studio was cleaned and bed sheets/towels were replaced. The host was lovely and easy to reach via phone or text. On Orthodox Easter, they even brought us some Easter food from their grill for lunch which was such a nice gesture! Would absolutely love to come back here.

The bed was too hard and not comfortable. It was quite moist inside the studio, which you could for example smell inside the kitchen cabinets, and you had to hang towels outside for them to ever get dry. But maybe this is different during the hotter summer months or when you have the AC on, which we didn't since we stayed there in April. The wifi was barely working – and you could only use it on the terrace – BUT luckily, a new router was installed a few days into our stay and after that it was fine!

The views from the private terrace were amazing and the location perfect. You’re roughly half way towards the Acropolis and it’s a relatively easy walk up. It was great sipping wine on the terrace listening to the donkeys trot by. The air conditioning unit has clearly been replaced recently and was excellent.

The mattress on the bed was far too hard plus although set up as a double it was actually two mattresses butted up against each other. No blankets supplied for colder nights. The shower fixing didn’t hold the shower in the right position so one had to hand hold it. I’m a bit too old for that sort of thing! Had to wash the crockery and utensils before we could use them.
