Niente tutto perfetto

Property was in a lovely quiet location not overlooked and two minute from the main area of Lindos. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay in Villa Danae

Nothing everything was great

Lovely modern, comfortable & very well equipped villa, exceptional outdoor patio area, friendly helpful hosts

- the apartment is well equipped - the fruit and bottle of wine prepared for our welcome was a nice gesture - the inner courtyard is quiet even in season, provides a private sphere, suitable for relaxation - the beach is a 10 minute walk - the surrounding narrow streets are cozy, suitable for evening walks

- despite what is stated on the booking page, the apartment does NOT have a sea view, so anyone expecting this will be disappointed! The sea can only be seen from the top of the building, but contrary to the pictures shown, there is nothing on the roof (no table, no chairs, no shade, nothing), so staying there is not possible, so in this way it is a scam! - upon our arrival, the owner spoke at length about how important customer satisfaction is to him, and personal contact, returning guests, so that his accommodation is not just a "self check-in" type of accommodation, etc. This was already strange to me, since I had asked him 3 times before to meet at the entrance to the apartment, but he kept insisting on meeting us at the Atmosphere bar. I didn't understand then why we had to adapt to him, but okay, so that the holiday wouldn't start badly, I agreed. However, during our stay, we had to realize that the owner talks a lot, but says little. After one day I was not sure that the cleaning lady, due to her lack of English, understood that we would not be cleaning the next day, I wrote to the owner and asked him to check with her to make sure we understood each other correctly. He promised to tell her, but despite this, the cleaning lady woke us up the next morning... When we left, the owner did not even show up, we left the keys on the table. So much for personal contact... I have the feeling that the customer is only valued here as long as he pays.
